City Lodge near Salisbury: Salisbury Hotels

Good Points: Very clean, beautifully decorated room. Great value for money. Very close to city centre.
Bad Points: The fact that there was only one oillow each!
Further Comments: I found the hotel to be great value for money, the room we stayed in (no 10) was lovely, everything was very clean and the staff were pleasant. It was very well situated for the town centre. The only downside was no parking but we parked in a car park 2 minutes away which cost ￃﾂￂﾣ4 all day.

Good Points: The room was pleasant, clean and warm.
Bad Points: The room was rather small and would not have liked to be this cramped if staying more that one night.
Further Comments: Good accomodation for an overnight stay. The provision of juice and ceral bar was a bonus for this type of accomodation. Would happily recommend this hotel.We were out in the courtyard room and the inside walls very very cold and needed to keep the heat on all night. The room was rather small and would not have liked to be this cramped if staying more that one night. Other rooms appeared bigger so would ask for this next time.

Further Comments: Die City Lodge in Salisbury kann ich nur empfehlen, tolle groￃﾃￅﾸe Zimmer (fￃﾃￂﾼr England) sehr schￃﾃￂﾶnes Bad, dass ganze Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Personal super nett. Das kein Frￃﾃￂﾼfstￃﾃￂﾼck angeboten wird liegt daran, dass viele Gￃﾃￂﾤste sehr frￃﾃￂﾼh aus dem Haus gehen und sich das Frￃﾃￂﾼhstￃﾃￂﾼck dem entsprechend fￃﾃￂﾼr das Hotel nicht lohnt. Am Empfang gibts aber eine Liste mit Cafￃﾃￂﾩￃﾂￂﾴs wo man gut und gￃﾃￂﾼnstig frￃﾃￂﾼhstￃﾃￂﾼcken kann. Viel Spaￃﾃￅﾸ in Salisbury

Good Points: The room was very clean and comfotable.
Bad Points: A mini fridge in the room would have been handy. no dedicated parking.
Further Comments: The hotel is situated in the centre of town which was very convinient. The room was very clean and comfy with no noise.

Good Points: Excellent location, friendly staff, room was clean and roomy (no pun intended) with new fixtures and fittings. Very easy walk to Cathedral, shops etc.
Bad Points: Walls are like paper - bring earplugs unless you really enjoy knowing exactly what is going on in all the surrounding rooms. My rental car was vandalized (keyed) while parked on the street right outside the hotel, which is opposite a nightclub.
Further Comments: Overall, nice rooms, good value and location, but walls are thin. Expect to park in street at metered spaces, or in nearby parking lots.

Further Comments: The hotel is refurbished and the room condition has been keeping at very hight standard with LCD and Sky TV. It offered a very attractive price. However, they should consider including the breakfast into the room fare instead.

Bad Points: the wall heater was a little too small for the size of room, so was a little cold

Good Points: The room was extremely clean and very homely. The bathroom facilities were second to none and the bed was VERY comfortable!!
Bad Points: No dislikes what so ever
Further Comments: Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location very close to the city. Parking could cause problems in busier times although there are public car parks close by.

Good Points: It was exceptionally clean and the room was warm. The location was perfect.
Further Comments: Great value and exactly what I wanted for a weekend break. Staff were friendly and accomodating. The hotel was much closer than I expected to the local attractions as well as the cinema.

Good Points: Rooms were clean, sufficient mod cons, service was friendly and unfussy.
Bad Points: Electric heater doesn't really heat the whole room very well.
Further Comments: The facilities were all in good working order, the room was well kept and the bed comfortable. The service was excellent, in that it was sufficiently attentive but not fussy. About as hassle free as hotel stays get. Would be nice if there was sky tv though!

Further Comments: Was very impressed with both the hotel and the staff, as well as the room and the location. Would definately recommend this hotel and hope to return again. The bedrooms were basic but very nicely decorated, clean with good facilities including the tv. Lovely bathroom and shower. Overall a great experience

Further Comments: The location is really good for City Centre, with plenty of free on-street parking overnight. The rooms were more than comfortable with all the facilities any business traveller would need, and the staff courteous, attentive and extremely efficient. Best value hotel I've stayed in for a long time.

Good Points: Clean and tidy, very pleasant and helpful receptionist and extremely prompt, well prepared and very reasonably priced Full English breakfast.
Bad Points: Some basics missing in bath room, esp. toilet roll holder,any shelving, non-slip bath mat. The beds was poorly positioned- too close to wall on one side. I had the impression that as the establishment had only very recently opened certain things had not been completed adequately or not at all yet.
Further Comments: Despite my 'dislike' comments I was very pleased with the whole package. The city centre location is clearly ideal for an overnight stay and I personally would seriously consider using the facility for a longer stay. I have no issues regarding the adequacy of information prior to my visit.

Good Points: Very Clean,Fab TV and free wifi
Further Comments: I was a little dubious about staying in a lodge , but i have to say this was better than most hotels i stay in.I think i was one of the first guests since opening and so everything was very clean and more importantly everything worked! I especially liked the free wifi and flatscreen tv with lots of channels , the bathroom was very good with power shower and bath. Parking wasnt too much of a problem i knew before hand they didnt have any parking ,but there are car parks nearby.
