Bad Points: Incorrect phone number on web site

Good Points: Sheets and towels, were clean.
Bad Points: Everything else was grubby.

Good Points: The owners of the hotel have only been in a couple of months and they were excellent made us very welcome and even kept the bar open for us later than usual as the concert didn't finish till after 10.00 pm
Bad Points: The only think I would say was that my brothers room the door was off the shower but straight away they moved him to another room.
Further Comments: Excellent very nice beds and lovely clean crisp white sheets, breakfast very good

Good Points: Excellent Breakfast. One particular young staff member (female)seemed to be involved with all aspects of the hotel - energetic and pleasant.
Bad Points: Only have Shower in "Superior Rooms". Hair driers need to be requested. Bed extremely "lumpy" Misleading advertising (photo)- it is situated on the side of a very busy road.

Good Points: To be honest I wasn't expecting much, but was really pleased when i arrived at the hotel, claen, organised and the bedroom much smarter than the price would suggest.
Bad Points: No internet in the bedrooms, wireless or otherwise, although it was available in the bar.
Further Comments: Good, clean and worth returning to next time I am in the area.

Bad Points: Food, room, everything.
Further Comments: This hotel could have been the original Fawlty Towers only is was no joke. Food awful, although advertised as hoome cooked, no way. Managers could not give us directions to Nottingham although only 15 miles away, as they were new. But by far the worst aspect, the room. bed like princess and the pea, all you could feel were springs, but the real horror was in the morning when taking the plug out of the sink, RAW SEWAGE came up the pug hole in the shower!!!!! We stayed on a Saturday night and there were only two other tables booked in the resturant, now I know why.

Good Points: Desk Staff very helpful in booking a room to accombadating our son and our dog, will use the hotel again.
Bad Points: Room Light not working, shower curtain allows water to fall all over bathroom floor - H&S issue

Further Comments: The Bar Meal was very Good and the Breakfast was to big ( and I love a good breakfast)

Good Points: The food in the restaurant is of a good standard. This was my second visit and the food last time was excellent.
Bad Points: Staff could be a little friendlier.
Further Comments: The hotel is very conviently placed next to the high way, even so the bedrooms are still quite.

Bad Points: I found the TV screen too small
Further Comments: The hotel was good with friendly service and included a full breakfast. The one dinner we had was, however, only just OK. Our first two choices were not available (probably because the hotel was hosting a small conference and was thefefore stretched) although the meal we finally received was fair value for money. The reception was often unattended in the evening and early morning although one could go into the bar and receive service which was fine. However this and the breakfast times (we were not advised that breakfast on Saturday was 1 hour later) could have been better explained when we booked in.
