Good Points: It had a very charming ambience and friendly helpful staff. Food was also very good
Further Comments: Charming hotel in a picturesque village. Good food at reasonable prices. Rooms are well kept, clean and although small they are large enough for a weekend break. Lovely area to visit and The Angel is well recommended for your base.

Good Points: The room was really lovely,beams on ceiling and walls made it very olde worlde. We had a lovely view over the square,wonderful sunset on Saturday.
Bad Points: We had a water heater(tank) in the bedroom wardrobe(rm 8) that came on and off throughout the night quite disturbing the peacefullness of Lavenham.
Further Comments: We realy like Lavenham,however the parking is a bit hit and miss,i.e. wait 5mins and you can park in the square,we feel that in the summer time this could really be a problem,however the rooms at the Angel are very good and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.We would stay again without hesitation.

Good Points: The quiet, comfort and good food
Further Comments: My wife had broken her back recently and all the staff could not have been kinder or more supportive to her - it really helped her.

Good Points: Excellent shower, clean bathroom, lots of hot water. Room was quiet despite being near the kitchens where you can often get smells /noise. Free parking in market square
Further Comments: Friendly staff, good food comfortable room. Good value for money and nice that you can book single nights over the weekend.
