Good Points: All facilities needed were in the room and the bed was very comfortable.
Bad Points: Perhaps slightly noisy at night, but not for too long.
Further Comments: I think the accommodation was good and everything necessary was provided. I do not remember whether the steep stairs to gain access to the room were mentioned in the original information, but if not then it might be an idea to mention them. There were very good bannisters and handrails, but some elderley people might find them too much to climb. We had a snack at lunch time and dinner and both were very good, the fresh fish in particular. The service was prompt and cheerful. Breakfast was also fine.

Good Points: the coal fires and oldie worldie look
Bad Points: nothing
Further Comments: My only question would have been how far it was from Bury St Edmunds as this was the place we wanted to visit. But the whole time we were there was lovely.

Good Points: Warm and cosy bar and room
Bad Points: Not open when we arrived at 4pm which was a surprise but when we phoned, he came down to let us in. The bar/hotel opened for the evening at 5.30pm
Further Comments: This hotel was adequate for our one night stay. The room was clean and attractive. Not too thrilled by the pump toilet although it worked efficiently. The bar had roaring fires and pleasant. Although they had a party of 35 people in for the evening they cooked our meal before them so allayed fears that we might have to wait a long time. The breakfast was good too.

Good Points: My room was very clean, warm and had a lot of facilities. WiFi was a bonus.
Bad Points: would have liked more tv channels.
Further Comments: I stayed in a double room and had a comfortable stay. I didn't use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast so cannot comment on the food. I would have liked to but did not have time. I would recommend this hotel for buisness use or leisure. The staff I interacted with seemed very friendly.

Good Points: The building itself, nice room, extremely personable service, very good value for money.
Bad Points: I have no particular complaints.
Further Comments: The location was lovely; quite convenient for where I was working. My room was large, comfortable and well equipped. There was very much a personal touch with all of my dealings with the staff. The food on offer was of a decent quality, and at a reasonable price.

Good Points: The location. Pets allowed. Nice old country inn. Comfortable room. Clean. Quiet village. Good car park I felt my vehicle was safe. Good breakfast.
Bad Points: Accomadtion was fine, but we had dinner in the restaurant which was very disappointing.
Further Comments: I liked the hotel and would stay there again but would probably not eat in the hotel restaurant.
