| Good Points:
It was new clean and simple |
| Bad Points:
It was expensive - for what it was - there was no free wi-fi |
| Further Comments: It was a fine new hotel, but like all large international chains - a little impersonal - the food was a little plastic and predictable which is why I tend to stay at smaller hotels. Especially one that has good reviews for food !! |

| Good Points:
the room was a good size and i was able to control the temperature |
| Bad Points:
the decoration was like something out of the 1980's, the finishing was poor throughout the hotel. the bed was only a standard double - would have been better as a 5ft or 6ft. It would have been good to have a choice of herbal teas in the room. |
| Further Comments: Overall the hotel was clean and functional and the staff were friendly and helpful, i did not have to really wait at all to check in. The interior though was substandard and a new hotel should really have a better finish and the colour scheme was very dated. I stayed 1 night 2 weeks consecutively, the first week i paid ᅢツᅡᆪ55 which was a fantastic price for 2 people and when i asked at the desk whether i could book again for the next saturday evening i was quoted ᅢツᅡᆪ130 which i declined as there are some lovely boutique hotels in Brighton where i could pay that price with breakfast included with a far nicer interior. I went home and found a room online for ᅢツᅡᆪ89 so I booked on line. Other people we know who have stayed there seemed to have paid around ᅢツᅡᆪ130 for a tiny room and were really disappointed. If you want a full design crit on your hotel and want to know how to compete better with the competition please feel free to conatct me at Third Space Ltd www.third-space.co.uk. We work with many clients ranging from Nicole Farhi to Wedgwood to offices, confrence room as well as private residences. |

| Good Points: Location near station, Good sized room, all new and very clean. Staff very helpful. |
| Bad Points: Apart from the smoke alarm going off at 1am all was very good. |
| Further Comments: Breakfast was the only disappointing part-standard continental buffet and tea/coffee from a machine. Otherwise excellent all round and breakfast was an optional extra.. |

| Good Points: It was clean and new |
| Bad Points: Staff knowledge and attitude. |
| Further Comments: When I arrived the receptionist could not find my booking and charged me for rooms at a higher rate until I could prove that I had booked at a lower rate. Having specifically requested twin rooms I had been given a double room and when I asked to change rooms it took 2 hours and a reminder to the receptionist who had forgotten about the request. The reception was busy and there was not enough staff to deal with the number of people checking in. Also the reception staff could not respond to questions about a car parking area just outside the hotel. The bar was understaffed and it took a long time to be served. In fairness the hotel is new and I would like to think that service will improve over time. |
