Good Points: Excellent location with lovely sea view. The staff were charming and helpful. The reception area and dining room were attractive and maintained to a high standard.

Good Points: The convenience of being in the centre of Brighton
Bad Points: The hotel was so shabby and tired looking, it needed a bit of TLC. The curtains in the room could not be drawn, the television had a bizarre system for the stations. The bathroom gave the impression that it had been dropped from a height into the room. The carpet was frayed and in the breakfast room it was threadbare. The breakfast was hardly worth mentioning, the only thing that was supplied fresh was the toast.
