| Good Points:
Hotel had a room in a good location in Reading
Bathroom clean and well looked after, looked new.
furniture of a reasonable standard, rooms a good size
staff friendly |
| Bad Points:
Slime in kettle, disgusting state of appliances. a cup of tea or coffee was out of the question as there was a funny goo in the kettle.
not sure if water in rooms was drinkable... there was a funny taste, decided to wait until able to visit shop to buy water.
Suspected rodents in the room in the night, was awoken by rustlng and squeaking at 6am.
Road side rooms very noisy in morning (and at night for that matter) |
| Further Comments: very disappointing, stayed there 6 years ago and it was great - had no hesitation on rebooking. would not stay there again unless things change for the better. |

| Good Points:
Very Clean, plenty of towels, my room was very quiet. |
| Bad Points:
Parking. This hotel has a tiny car-park which is always taken up with two or three large vans. |

| Good Points:
Convenient location, easy to find, no-fuss check-in and check out, unobtrusive service, handy parking |
| Bad Points:
Noisy room on busy main road at the front of the hotel. |
| Further Comments: The staff put themselves out to meet my needs. (The hotel was in fact closed at the time but they nevertheless honoured my booking and made alternative arrangements for breakfast etc.)
The hotel is only a few minutes from the Thames so would be ideal for guests who want to enjoy the river. |

| Good Points:
Price and proximity to town centre / railway station. |
| Further Comments: A pleasant little hotel close to the town centre and main amenities. I stayed there on a Friday night, and, somewhat unusually in my experience of British town centres, both the hotel and the surrounding area seemed very quiet. For those who prefer noise and revelry, you are only about 10-15 minutes on foot from the main shops, bars, etc, (there are also reasonable facilities in the immediate area). |

| Good Points: The breakfast was excellent |
| Bad Points: No windows in the room |
| Further Comments: The hotel layout is slightly strange, although there does appear to be some work taking place. The room was actually an apartment and was clean and tidy. The main drawback was no windows other than one looking into the boiler room. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. |

| Good Points: easy location to get to, basic but clean. |
| Further Comments: It hotel was basic and good value as such. However the TV was not working correctly, when i reported this in the morning i was told that i should have called down and they would have sorted it. This was OK however there was no apology and the responce was curt. |
