| Good Points: sea view |
| Bad Points: Poor decor, badly set out, unsafe window; dimly-lit diningroom with no daylight;linen/rubbish in corridors; and safety standard of lift very questionable, with limited wheelchair access. |
| Further Comments: Hotel standards are far, far higher(and cheaper) in a capital city such as Amsterdam and Copenhagen; with notable exceptions the standard of overnight accommodation/breakfast is for the most part expensive and largely indifferentin the UK and needs seriously examining.
What was required was clean, comfortable, well-designed, basic accommodation with a quality (total self-service) breakfast all at a reasonable price.
Strategic planning is required here in this lovely location to achieve a positive outcome. |
