Royal Pier Hotel near Cardiff: Cardiff Hotels

Good Points: what we liked most about the hotel was it was well kept,clean,warm the staff were very friendly and the food was good
Bad Points: needs better curtains in bathroom for privacy
Further Comments: The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the town across the sea front which is pleasant would definately stay again

Good Points: Dining Room excellent.
Bad Points: Clean but maybe a spot of paint in the rooms and the bathroom did need updating.
Further Comments: An orginal sea front Grand Hotel. Excellent stay made special by the helpful staff. Food was excellent.

Good Points: The staff are very pleasant and efficient. The dining room is very pleasant and the food was excellent and varied.
Bad Points: The hotel is very tired and dated. It is really in need of an extensive refurbishment. We were led to believ that in the entire hotel there was only on television which actually worked. Fortunately we were able to move into the room that had the working t.v,
Further Comments: The graphics on the website were obviously taken some time ago nad the reality is that the hotel is not of the standard depicted by those graphics. Had I known exactly the standrad of decor then I would not have stayed at this hotel. Position wise is excellent but again is let down by a lack of parking.
