Good Points: Comfortable hotel set in pleasant, quiet surroundings and very reasonably priced. Staff were excellent and looked after us very well. Lovely garden - shame it was raining most of the time

Good Points: ideal size hotel not too big nor small breakfast good ample parking
Bad Points: creaky floorboards!! horrible teabags! tiny shower cubicle loose headboard - pillows kept going down behind bed and wall

Good Points: Nice building. Good location
Bad Points: Room wasn't as clean as I would have liked. The service could have been better with the breakfast, alot of things had run out and we had to keep asking.

Good Points: The room had a boutique touch
Bad Points: The honour bar is a good point, however, the wine ￂﾣ4.50 for the tinniest bottle I have ever seen is a VERY BAD POINT and when opened it had sedament. Which when we returned did not receive an apology but on a good point they never charged for.
Further Comments: Situated in lovely grounds and very picturebook, very comfortable bed, not paper thin walls did not hear neighbours, no bath just a shower, Will come & stay again

Good Points: When booking we not informed that the Hotel was undergoing renovation. Our room was tired and in need of decoration. The shower produced cold water only.
Bad Points: We asked for Rooom and Full English breakfast. this was confirmed when booked. On arrival swe were informed that the kitchen was not working since work was being carried out in the Hotel. We had no option but to accept a 'continental' breakfast in our room which had no facilities or space for two people to eat!!
Further Comments: Most disappointing. Very unlikely to stay there again.

Good Points: Hotel only 15 mins from Ascot Racecourse, was clean and the staff were friendly
Bad Points: Overall the accomodation was dated and a bit tatty - the paintwork needed redoing, just to freshen it all up, and the decor could do with updating
Further Comments: The staff were friendly and helpful. The overall impression of the hotel was that it was clean and tidy but the decor was stuck in the 1980s - definitely needs updating! Breakfast was good - plenty of food and well cooked and presented. The room was of adequate size - big enough but I would have preferred bigger - and the en-suite was only a shower. Both the bedroom and the ensuite were very clean and tidy.

Good Points: Bed and bathroom spotlessly clean.
Bad Points: Room very tiny. I was offered a bigger room on arrival - but I refused as it would have meant paying more. Shower was so small I found it difficult to bend down in it. And I am only 9 stone!!
Further Comments: A nice enough place with a good atmosphere. Price good for location. Shame about the miniscule room, and the bedroom carpet definitely needed a shampoo. Decoration throughout a bit tired.
