Good Points: Very clean & in good location. Beautiful gardens etc.
Bad Points: Reception staff were ok but could've been friendlier.

Good Points: tasteful decor lovely grounds.
Bad Points: should be an electric air vent in bathroom .cold breakfast buffet .
Further Comments: loved hotel building and accomadation .pleased with staff response to fire alarm .Very organised.do think lack of bathroom extractor fan was cause of alarm . Evening meal wonderful but breakfast buffet a dissapointment ... cold food .Staff all excellent .

Good Points: Excellent setting and property with a relaxing environment
Bad Points: The room was slightly dated,particularly the bathroom.
Further Comments: The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, but the restaurant staff were of a low standard and didn't seem to care. The menu was limited and even with a small choice the fish was off the menu and only one portion of hand cut chips was available which tasted pre prepared and probably frozen (this let down what has all the appearances of a quality hotel)

Good Points: Comfortable, good sized and a lovely view over the rose garden.
Further Comments: Have dined at the Haycock before and the restaurant is good quality. Stay was very pleasant but some of the staff were a bit brusque in their manner - not the restaurant staff who were very professional and charming. The hotel grounds are particularly well kept and provide a sense of spaciousness and graciousness. The village of Wansford is very lovely and the hotel is right by the nicest part.
