Hotel was very clean, staff were very helpful and friendly; food was well presentd and cooked with good choice on the menu |

Service in restaurant a little on the slow side at times |
| Further Comments: Enjoyed the stay - worries beforehand that it might be noisy (as it is situated outside the railway station) proved groundless |

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean, including the public areas. |
| Further Comments: That the hotel was so near the station was an important factor in booking The Station Hotel, Dumfries. It was also easy to walk to town which was very helpful as we were visiting the birthplace of our relations. |

| Good Points: Hotel in Splendid position. Beautiful building. excellent service, good size clean and comfortable room. I would recommend this room to any traveller and will personally go back again for a further visit |

Hotel in Splendid position. Beautiful building. excellent service, good size clean and comfortable room. I would recommend this room to any traveller and will personally go back again for a further visit |
