Bad Points: There was no consideration given to the pink wallpaper and the orange bedcovers. they clashed visibly. Paint was needed in many palces

Good Points: spacious and grand in appearance very helpful staff.
Bad Points: i felt the breakfast on offer had an excellent array of choice however was a little over priced.

Good Points: it was useful to have a car park space, always a problem in brighton. the bedding was clean.
Bad Points: the bedroom decor was shabby and dated. the furniture was uninspiring and utility standard. the bathroom unit surfaces were worn and looked dirty. the shower was impossible to adjust to required temperature. there was a 40th birthday party taking place the evening we stayed and it was obvious that there was no soundproofing. i wore earplugs all night.
Further Comments: a photograph of the accommodation would have deterred me from booking at this hotel. it did not have a welcoming feel. i felt that it was purely a functional place to stay. the courtlands had an unloved and uncared for air.

Good Points: we found the accommodation to be clean with a lovely fragrance, the beds were so comfy,with nice pillows. The main plus was that the room was so warm, which was welcome, as it was a freezing night.
Further Comments: as i was having eye surgery, i needed somewhere near to the clinic, the courtlands fitted the bill, it was also within walking distance for a bit of shopping, eating out, but being up a side street it was away from any noise. after being greeted by friendly staff, we took the lift {no lugging bags up stairs}, to our comfy, warm room, where we spent a very relaxing evening, my partner had all intentions of trying the swimming pool, but, had his work cut out looking after me, making endless cups of tea and coffee, that were provided, a warm welcome on the freezing night. i did not opt for the breakfast as i thought it was a bit pricey, i will certainly stay at this hotel again.

Good Points: friendly staff and good value for money
Bad Points: drunk male hanging around reception bothering the reception staff, not a great first impression for us. Other guests were not amused by this person either.
Further Comments: Warm friendly and come and go as you please. Ideal location for being near to the shops , sea front and resteraunts.

Good Points: We loved the size of our room! The whole building was clean, tidy and warm. The staff were extremely helpful and polite.
Bad Points: The lack of a power shower.
Further Comments: The hotel is easy to get to and is close to the coast and Brighton itself. The hotel overall is clean, tidy, spacious and warm. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. A huge weight off the shoulders is the fact it has its own private car park which is very convenient. This hotel would be our first choice when we return to Brighton again.

Good Points: Clean, pleasant room. No nightly noise. Huge desk/table area. It met my requirements very well. I was on a business trip, so the closeness of the hotel to local tourist facilities wasn't an issue.

Good Points: Very clean, well presented, good location & friendly helpful staff
Bad Points: Double bed was very small (4ft wide)
Further Comments: Very enjoyable stay all round will be returning on future visits to Brighton.
