Bad Points: MAIN LIGHT IN BEDROOM NOT WORKING, NOT A NICE VIEW FROM OUR ROOM

Good Points: Room modern; good facilities; reasonably quiet; good value for money in the area.
Bad Points: Breakfast poor and expensive (coffee & croissants ran out - no bread rolls); only one chair in room; lots of stairs.
Further Comments: Worth the stay but nothing special.

Good Points: newly refurbished room was great
Bad Points: The hotel in general is very dated with work being carried out, the carpark was stacked up with old chairs that need to be dumped and this is not a good first impression. .

Good Points: The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff friendly.
Bad Points: Hairdryer not working and it took a while to sort out the bedside lights. As a family we had three rooms and there was no information relating to contacting other rooms directly by phone.
Further Comments: The hotel was clean, rooms spacious and staff friendly. Convenient to the motorway and the town centre.

Good Points: Room was fantastic, manager was polite and helpful
Bad Points: We were unaware that the hotel is in the middle of refurbishment, corridor walls were covered in damp. Barman was extremely rude and unhelpful

Bad Points: The tea tray hidden away in the drawer, we didn't discover it until we left, so missed out on our early morning tea!!!!
Further Comments: Will be better when renovations are completed.

Bad Points: The opening hours of your bar was a bit adhoc. We arrived back at the hotel on a weekday at 10.35 only to told the bar was closed and when we returned on another night, drinks were available ?????????
Further Comments: Overall the stay was ok staff accomodating but could have been better without very much effort on the Hotels part

Good Points: Accommodation was close to facilities.
Bad Points: In desperate need of an upgrade. Long time since I stayed in a hotel with a Pink bathroom, pink tiles and pink lino, peeling off the floor!
Further Comments: Hotel ok, when updated would be very good. Chap on reception needs to learn to use deoderant, and this was both days. Hotel generally clean. staff generally pleasant Cover over bed needed cleaning, very stained. Blankets need updating!! Rooms with own balcony very pleasant. Food generally of a high rating.

Good Points: It was cheap and conveniently located for the Motor Show event I was working at.
Bad Points: I couldn't get a good night sleep. My room needed better soundproofing desperately. I could hear every conversation, cough, door slam, floor squeak etc from the ajoining rooms and corridor.

Bad Points: Attitude of check-in staff. Room too hot and poky. No warm water for shower.
Further Comments: Restaurant and waiting staff were good. Check in staff were surly and unhelpful. Room was uncomfortably warm.
