Good Points: easy to find the hotel as it right the prom. good direction to the hotel on the web site.
Bad Points: the hotel and rooms are abit out dated. the single room i stayed in was abit dull and out dated and small.

Good Points: Reception and bar staff were very friendly and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was nice and good value for money.
Bad Points: We requested at the time of booking that a cot be ready in our room for our daughter. This was not ready when we booked in, however it was soon corrected and a cot arrived within 5 minutes of us being there. Trying to park the car near the hotel was a difficult task. There was not enough room in the lift for an adult and a pushchair so we had to carry our daughter, bags and pushchair up the 2 flights of stairs to our room.

Good Points: Good location
Bad Points: Given a smoking rear room and told that this is due to booking via Hotelroom.com. The towels were frayed and one even had a hole in it!
Further Comments: Room smelt of stale tobacco and we had over thirty flies in room over the three days. Complained but Duty Manageress did not want to know.

Good Points: The room with a view over the prommenade and seafront was well worth the cost alone. The meals were excellent (too much really) and the staff friendly and courteous..
Bad Points: Some of the decor looked a little tired.

Good Points: Excellent location, service and food. Friendly staff.
Bad Points: Beeing in a smoking area when we requested a non-smoking area. On the last night of our stay, people were smoking on the coridor and we could smell the smoke quite strongly in our room. There was quite a lot of disterbance that night which kept us awake.

Good Points: Warm and clean with toiletries provided. Fresh towels daily was much appreciated.
Bad Points: Unfortunately we found the beds to be too hard and uncomfortable causing us to have a poor night's sleep.
Further Comments: The hotel is very well situated for all amenities with very helpful and happy staff. Nothing was too much trouble. It would have been helpful if the website could have recommended unloading the car at the front of the hotel before proceeding to the pre-booked car parking space at the rear.

Bad Points: The bathroom facilities were very cramped and the wash basin was in the bedroom. Not enough staff on duty at breakfast on the Sunday morning, service was slow.

Good Points: The view from the room was stunning.
Bad Points: Not being able to charge anyhting to the room unless you dined at the hotel, I was entertaining that night. The lack of car parking, I had to park probably 1/4 mile from the hotel.
Further Comments: This obviously a hotel geared to the grey pound, not the business traveller. Whilst the hotel was comfortable, and clean it is in some need of redecoration, and updating. I would like to have known about the pre-booking of the car park, due to the fact that I had to park an expensive car in the road probably 400mtrs from the hotel. I should have checked the parking facilities prior to booking as I do not know the area.
