Good Points: Good location close to main road and broads. Moorings available for use whilst on broads for evening meal stop over and for family to stay wen visiting broads.
Further Comments: The hotel was well run, the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a varied choice in the restaurant in the evening from either a set menu,a specials board or a la carte. The room, including the en suite, was spotless and comfortable.

Good Points: nIce comfortable room, well equipped and very clean. Our room overlooked the river.
Bad Points: Not as big a room as we would have liked but nevertheless adequate for our needs.
Further Comments: The hotel was nicely situation, our room overlooked the river and was set in lovely gardens. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the whole hotel had a lovely atmostphere, also the food was excellent. It was also nice to have a good choice for breakfast. The hotel was on a main road but it was not particularly noisey.

Good Points: location and catering
Bad Points: tv in room was very poor ; no clear picture no sky channels, reported to reception on leaving.
Further Comments: hotel staff and decor was excellent, actual double bed very firm, food was to a high standard , well presented good choice, wines were slightly over priced at this hotel in particular, compared with others in the area or company.

Good Points: The location, staff were very friendly, the room was great.
Bad Points: No main front door key so felt bad about rinkging the bell late at night!! Also would be nice to see some more deals as thinking of returning but can't afford the normal prices...
Further Comments: Was a great all round experience. Would very much like to ask politely for more deals, (especially in the summer) as would like to come back for an extended trip but would be unlikely to be able to afford it :(

Good Points: Large room, Very very comfy bed - Think I would go as far as to say the most comfy bed I have ever slept in in a hotel. all the facilities you could dream of. Tea / coffee in room, leg press, bath / shower, Wi fi, TV etc etc
Bad Points: Bath could have been bigger. The price of the food was slightly over priced for what it was, but it was very nice and tasty indeed.
Further Comments: The staff could not have been more helpful. They really wanted to be there and help in any way they could. Even sending my daughters doll in the post as we lost it whilst there. New extensive menu on offer. We found it to be slightly over priced but we did still enjoy the food. Very large children's play ground - Our daughter really enjoyed it. Would have liked to visit in the summer as the views of the river and gardens were beautiful. Would recommend a stay here to anyone, and if we find ourselves in Norfolk I would definitely stay again.

Good Points: Very comfortable accommodation, staff friendly and welcoming
Further Comments: Very comfortable room, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Menu was varied, and reasonably priced, and good quality. Excellent full English breakfast rounded off a pleasant stay.

Good Points: the situation right on the broads and within easy reach of other areas
Further Comments: I did look on the web site and read the comments some were not very kind about the new set up, but never having been to a hotel in the Maypole group before I had nothing to compare it with. my partner and myself found all the staff made our stay very enjoyable, the hotel was clean and our room was very comfortable, we ate there on the two evenings we were there and the food and service was excellent, Ilike my food very hot and usually hotel food is not hot enought for me but both evening meals and breakfasts were just right.

Good Points: British staff and friendly.
Bad Points: Hotel looked as though it could do with a coat of paint.
Further Comments: We found the hotel suitable for night-stopping. The breakfast was very nice with a good choice, served by a very friendly lady. The lounge though big enough, with comfortable chairs, was a through room with no view. The reception area needed attention, as did the entrance up to the rooms. Our room 12 was directly over the bar entrance,where smokers congregated and thus their chat carried up to our room. However, for all that we would stay again.

Good Points: The room was well decorated and clean, service levels by all staff was exemplary.
Further Comments: We arrived fairly late on the Friday evening, due to work commitments, but the staff were very welcoming and understanding, checking in was completed with the minimum of fuss...we still had time for a quick drink before bed! The room was very well presented and clean. As we were visiting coastal attractions and the broads, this was a very conveinient and central base. Good value for money...highly recommended and would stay again!

Good Points: Nice outlook from window of hotel room. Good, spacious room, nicely appointed.
Bad Points: The breakfast was very good but the evening meals were disappointing. Not enough variety and 'specials' board was repeated daily!!!
Further Comments: I would have liked to have known the hotel was very close to a busy main road. Despite the double glazing, the traffic noise was disturbing.

Further Comments: Central to areas of interest i.e Cromer-Potter Heigham- Yarmouth- Wroxham and 5 minute walk to hire a boat-very relaxing week-end break

Good Points: very clean, reasonable prices very freindly staff
Further Comments: the Hotel was clean comfortable and attractive the food was well presented with a good choice from this hotel I will be looking to try other hotels within the group highley recommended

Good Points: The room was more than adequate for what we wanted.
Further Comments: The view from the room was very good. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent and very good value for money. A great place to stay and base in which to visit the broads and surrounding areas.

Good Points: The friendly and helpful staff and management personnel, very good food and views over the river.
Further Comments: Would have liked to have known before booking if we had booked a twin room or double as a couple. This still did not stop our enjoyment of a lovely hotel.
