1 Leisure Visit - 17/11/07	70%
Good Points: Brigh, Clean and more than adequate
Bad Points: Extremly noisy even with windows closed in room allocated
Further Comments: As I arrived late I did not have time to make full use of the facilities, however, the hotel was clean and well situated in centre of town, however, its location next door to student accomodation does leave a lot to be desired and given that I was there mid week I would hate to think what it is like at week-ends. Check in was easy and staff very couteous. I will not however use this hotel again unless I can be assured of a room away from the students accomodation. every one to their own but I could not take the chance of driving on the next day perhaps not having had a full nights sleep as I did this time. I was on the eighth floor and facing the student accomodation and it was not good, so for anyone lower it must have been worse I kept the windows closed and this did not help. Breakfast is very good and is eat as much as you like and here is adequate Parking directly opposite in a Pay and Display Car Park If you can speak to the hotel and guarentee a room away from the students accomodation then yes I would recommend this hotel - if not avoid like the plague if you are into enjoying a full nights sleep.

Good Points: the accomodation was good.
Further Comments: I had to check out early because i could not sleep with all the noise that was going on. I was trying to get some sleep because i was on a business trip. I checked into your hotel because it is the best to book in at the the time that suits you and i needed to be in glasgow for 7pm that evening. I went to check out and the lady at the counter did not even ask me if everything was ok. To be honest i was so tired and fed up with the noise i just wanted to go.

Good Points: Good standard of cleanliness throughout hotel and rooms, staff very helpful and an enjoyable breakfast.
Bad Points: Getting from carpark to hotel across a very busy road it needs a proper crossing of some description.
Further Comments: I would have liked more information about car park and its rates of charging for an overnight stay as it is not clear in the carpark itself what the charges are. For a hotel in its class it is very impressive for its level of cleanliness in and out of rooms. In the rooms I liked the bathroom facilities and its layout. Compact as the rooms are there is a good use of space to put away luggage etc. An excellent breakfast and a good selection of food and all was of a good quality. Most important of all was the staff you have their willingness to help and a speedy check in and out service.

Good Points: The rooms were more than adequate, the staff helpful.
Bad Points: The accommodation was fine.
Further Comments: A friend stayed in the hotel at the same time, he told me he was disappointed with the breakfast, but as I never eat in the morning I can only report what he said.

Good Points: I liked the cleaniness of the room, The staff were friendly and the nationality mixed.
Bad Points: The foyer was too small
Further Comments: I thought that the value for money was good, the staff friendly and helpful, the rooms clean the breakfast was good. The location ideal for our purpose.

Good Points: It was handy for the event i was attending.
Bad Points: No onsite parking and having to cross a very busy road
Further Comments: The hotel was fine apart from the parking and in the room you have noisy water pipes, but apart from that everything was fine. Breakfast was very good but could have done with an assortment of egges not just scrambled.

Good Points: It was very clean.
Bad Points: Parking, Restaurant, Staff Knowledge.
Further Comments: The parking was not attached to the hotel, had to move the car across the road and then pay too much for the parking. We went to eat in the restaurant on the Saturday night (busiest night probably) and the chef decided to take the night off. We were not told this, we decided on our food to then be told we should not have had that menu. The staff then directed me to a chip shop up the road which never even existed meaning the staff did not know the surrounding area which was very poor considering people staying would normally be from out of town and would ask these sort of questions of staff.

Bad Points: Room was far too hot. With the window open it was very noisy. Asked for a fan but none available. Air conditioning apparently not working. Using internet in rooms difficult to calculate but appeared expensive.
Further Comments: Would have liked to know proximity of bus stops & routes, whether air conditioning/cooling system in rooms and cost of using internet in rooms.
