Good Points: Clean and modern
Bad Points: The heat of the room. Couldn't sleep as a result.
Further Comments: The room appeared to be above the kitchen and as a result I could not spend any time in the room. It was so warm that it was difficult to breathe, and this was at a time when the weather was cool and the radiators were turned off.

Good Points: Clean, modern room. Very nice breakfast area.
Further Comments: Good value for money compared to bed and breakfasts in the area. Nice decor in hotel. Close to local amenities.

Good Points: Location very good, clean and spacious rooms
Bad Points: rooms a bit dated in design and far too hot although heating did not appear to be on
Further Comments: on the whole a good hotel with a pleasant atmosphere, cooked breakfast was good and service was excellent, bar open til 1am and staff very freindly. The secure parking was a comfort but we needed to ask were it was when we arrived, would be usefull info to indicate its location at the back of the hotel, but otherwise no complaints.

Further Comments: Bar and Restaurant staff very friendly. Reception staff not so, they need to smile more, after all I am paying. I was in a room on the road side of the hotel and on Wednesday night it was a bit noisy, Thursday more so until 03:00. I gather that Friday and Saturday are the really busy nights

Good Points: The accommodation was clean and the staff very helpful.
Bad Points: The noise from the venues opposite.
Further Comments: We would like to have know about the venues opposite the hotel as they were very busy and noisy with youngsters enjoying themselves. However, having said that they did not disturb us too much as we were very tired having driven up from London. I would suggest double glazing which might block out the noise. The hotel is in an excellent position in relation to the seafront, the food was very good and overall we had a pleasant, albeit short, stay.

Good Points: Large room. Excellent bathroom.
Further Comments: Nice hotel - combines old and new. Room was refurbished and very good. Breakfast was excellent, as was food in the evening.

Further Comments: we enjoyed our stay it was the noise and the view from our room which was dissapionting.But overall the hotel was nice if we return I would ask for a quieter room.

Further Comments: just a very relaxed stay, with great service and good rooms. Little noisy with the bars so close

Good Points: The secure car park was good.
Bad Points: The bed was extremely uncomfortable and decor in room looking dated. The restaurant wasn't open on a Sunday evening which was disappointing.
Further Comments: I would liked to have known the restaurant wasn't open on a Sunday evening.

Further Comments: Pleasantly surprised on arrival, central location & secure parking were a bonus. Room was well appointed and clean, bed on a comfort scale A+ Staff were curteous and foyer and general hotel layout were pleasing on the eye. In summary one of our better hotel stays

Further Comments: The hotel is situated on a busy street of late night bars, luckily at the time of my stay the area was quite and the bars where not very busy.

Further Comments: i have allready recomended the hotel to relatives. its extreamley busy with the the nearby bars but once the windows are closed you cant hear anything and a quiet relaxing bar

Good Points: The cleanliness was really impressive and the staff were excellent too.
Further Comments: Hotel was on the main street where all the bars were, so there was little walking distance to be done. The staff were excellent and were very helpful. The room was spotless. Basically it had everything you would expect from a hotel. It was one of the best hotels i have stayed in.

Good Points: The space in Room 3. Having a bath available.
Bad Points: Proximity to the Conference Room at 8.00 a.m.on Sunday!!
Further Comments: We were impressed with the hotel, and with its soundproofing-bearing in mind the noise on the street outside on a Saturday. We don't like background music at breakfast and wonder how many people really like it! The breakfast menu was very good,was well presented and cooked,especially the Craster Kipper!

Good Points: Decent hotel,friendly and helpful staff,good food and choice of breakfast.
Bad Points: Too warm and noisy kitchen extractor fan outside our window,so if we opened the window to cool down we let in the noise. Location is not ideal as the street is right in clubland, so pick a rear facing room !
Further Comments: Generally i enjoyed the hotel and can only nitpick, but i would not hesitate to use it again as it has many more plusses than minuses. The coastline is splendid as is the area all round. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Good Points: clean and tidy value for money.
Bad Points: first morning after ordering breakfast 20 mins later asked the same girl if she`d forgotten our breakfast and she asked if we had ordered,we all make mistakes but there was only 6 people in the restaurant at the time.looked at her pad saw the order and rushed into kitchen,there was some table and chair moving going on by them which is annoying at breakfast,which was probally why she forgot our order.Not a disaster but more attention to the guest would be better.
Further Comments: very good,really no serious complaints and would recommend the hotel.
