Good Points: Nice decor, excellent food (evening meal)
Bad Points: Two flights of stairs and no lift (no offer of help with luggage. Requested a bath, shower only. Room tiny! Bed not made correctly - sheet simply folded and laid over bed. Extra towel requested and not supplied Breakfast not hot enough!

Good Points: clean, quiet, freshly decorated
Bad Points: Tiny room (difficult to use hairdryer - no elbow room); draughty window above bed - easily enough solved by folding curtains onto window sill; no mat to use on shower room floor.
Further Comments: Met expectations - I had read reviews prior to stay.

Good Points: Apprpriate for the price. Had all that was needed.
Bad Points: No bellman to help with bags. Very complex stair pattern. (NOT a HUGE deal)
Further Comments: Very welcoming staff. Good location to have informal meetings. Excellent location to visit the High Street. Will definitely stay on my next visit to Guilford.

Good Points: Spaceous, comfortable and stylish.
Bad Points: No breakfast served after 9:30am. No breakfast room service. Limited TV channels. No movies.
Further Comments: The hotel was very comfortable. The rooms was spaceous, stylish and well appointed. The hotel is very well located for access to shops and restaurants. Parking space is limited and could possibly be a problem. Not ideal if you want a late start, but breakfast can be obtained after 9:30am at local restaurants a few minutes walk away. Overall a pleasantly indulgent treat to stay here on holiday - not cheap, but not dissapointing!

Bad Points: the room was very small for the price with no where to hang your coat and only two small bed side drawers for your clothes. very poor indeed.
Further Comments: basically it was the worst hotel i ve stayed in for a very long while.

Good Points: Nice clean and comfortable bedroom. Lovely sheets
Bad Points: Horrible smell of smoke in room. Bathroom a bit small but functional.
Further Comments: We were not offered a non smoking room and the one that we had smelt very badly. Think that more could be done to get rid of this odour.

Good Points: All amenities present, liked the free broadband and good bar and food selection.
Bad Points: Bathroom far too small, washbasin ok to wash your hands but that's it.
Further Comments: Overall a pleasant hotel with good atmosphere. Access to rooms with heavy bag very difficult,due to the meandering corridors and stairs.No lift. No in room ironing facilities ,with ironing room as an after thought. Found the receptionist on arrival functional but unfriendly and taciturn, more interested in talking to her friends on the phone than attending to guests.

Bad Points: Allgemein sehr laut wegen Barbetrieb im Hotel Falscher Feueralarm um 2 Uhr nachts
Further Comments: Unser Anliegen war hauptsￃﾤchlich eine ruhige Nacht auf der Durchreise zu verbringen. Wegen des lauten Barbetriebes und insbesondere des falschen Feueralarms (s.o.) war dies jedoch vￃﾶllig unmￃﾶglich. Eine Entschￃﾤdigung wurde nicht angeboten.

Good Points: Clean tidy, superb breakfast
Further Comments: Very nice, tv, shower wc, all you could want for a place to sleep after a load of beers! Helpful staff. Recommend.

Good Points: Modern, fresh, quiet, good location
Bad Points: Dirty towel, broken toilet seat, remote control didn't work properly
Further Comments: I would stay again even given the discrepencies above overall the hotel was good.

Good Points: The room was small but clean & good value for money.
Bad Points: A power cut in part of the hotel interrupted my work on the PC, but hopefully this is not a regular event!
Further Comments: The bar snacks are excellent and reasonably priced. The single room was a little small and it would be helpful if room areas are displayed when booking to allow an informed choice in accomodation. The location is excellent, near the centre of Guildford. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
