Good Points: very quant and true to the description on the web site. The couple running it were very friendly and helpful and even though we only stayed one night it was a lovely experience. We would definately recommend it to friends and family and would stay again if passing that way.
Further Comments: The only complaint we had was the booking process. I gave my card details on line and assumed the accommodation was paid for in advance. The owner did say several people had made the same mistake in the past so it would make sense if it was made clearer at time of booking. Also a map to go with the directions would have been helpful as it is a bit hard to find. Apart from that it was a lovely and pretty country property with two great owners.

Good Points: Friendliness of proprietors & staff. First class rooms and excellent food.
Further Comments: The hotel is very clean. The four poster bed really comfortable. It is situated a few minutes from Salisbury, but far enough away to enjoy the countryside. Free parking and only a mile or so from the nearest pub! We intend to return.

Bad Points: Dogs allowed in breakfast room.
Further Comments: This bed and breakfast is perfect for those wanting a homely stay. Our preference is for a slightly more impersonal stay at a hotel.

Good Points: Country meets luxury atmosphere. Friendly proprietors. Very comfortable accomodations.
Further Comments: We always like to know what the quality of the rooms are before we book a trip. Sometimes it's a mystery as to what kind of a room you might get. We were very pleased with the quality of the rooms at Newton Farmhouse. No ammenity was missing, the rooms are very modern and new while maintaining the country setting we sought. The grounds are very pleasant to explore. The drive through the countryside to the local pub is very pleasant. The proprietors were very warm and friendly. The breakfast is fabulous with a great variety of offerings. One really feels at home there. We would go back for a lengthier stay in a heartbeat.

Good Points: The room was clean,cosy and comfortable. The farmhouse has lots of charm and provided us with a stress free stay, just what we wanted. The breakfast was varied and very enjoyable. Our host was charming and welcoming.
Further Comments: The farmhouse was easy to find and the directions clear. we found it very central to the places we wanted to visit. The farmhouse is lovely, full of character. The owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was charming,cosy and comfortable. The choices for breakfast were varied and very nice. Although close to the main road the traffic was not a problem. The nearest places to eat really require a car to get there but we did not find this a problem.

Good Points: The friendliness of the owners, the lovely property and the good breakfast
Bad Points: Nothing about the accomodation but were concerned about the main road outside, it was very busy and dangerous to cross, but that didn't affect our stay.
Further Comments: We enjoyed our stay very much and the area is great for exploring. We can't think of anything we would have liked to have known beforehand - the website was comprehensive enough.

Good Points: Very comfortable and clean, the owners were very friendly and the breakfast was beautifully cooked with a wide variety and huge!!
Bad Points: Nothing.
Further Comments: Newton Farmhouse is very comfortable and clean. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely and had all the essentials (hairdryer, shower gels, etc.) There was also a great selection on the tea tray. Beautiful garden to stroll in, and animals to see.
