Bad Points: Not enough coffee, tea, milk etc Shower gel in bathroom only enough for one shower!

Good Points: Smart hotel. Reception, bar and eating area decorated with warm friendly colours. Room laout and quality of fit-out good.
Bad Points: Lack of car parking.

Bad Points: There is no posibility to pay with euro. There should be. As a great part of Europe pays with it. Thats a pity. Furtger on it would be fair if there is more flexibility regarding the check in time. The overall would be excellent.

Good Points: Very near to the city centre. Excellent restaurant/Costa's in the hotel.
Bad Points: No on-site parking (but reasonable priced parking near the hotel - 5pounds/night).

Further Comments: There is no central heating system. Each room is serviced by a type of fan heater which is very noisy. The security cards failed regularly. They would allow me to get to the 4th floor and then fail to work on the room door - meaning I had to go all the way downstairs again - every day (sometimes twice)!

Good Points: Cleaniness of the facilities and friendleness of all staff.
Bad Points: The bar shut at 11.45 PM and being a non smoker only had a smoking room available so the room stank a little.

Good Points: The hotel was ideal in its closeness to the town centre for shopping and the restaurant we had booked for the evening.
Bad Points: A very minor issue was the fact that despite the non-smoking policy a previous guest had clearly been smoking at the window (butts had been stamped out across the window sill)and the room smelled of cigatettes.

Good Points: The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We asked for a quiet room and got one. The continental breakfast was very good quality, as was the coffee. All staff we encountered were pleasant, helpful and obviously well trained.
Bad Points: Poor reception on television and aerial pulled out when we attempted to turn the set.
Further Comments: The hotel is well situated within easy walking distance of major attractions and restaurants, cinema etc. Everything is clean and well-maintained and the staff are pleasant and competent. The room is of a good size and the bed large and comfortable. Tha bathroom was also spotless, and the shower worked well. Tea and coffee facilities are provided in the room, and you have the choice of continental or cooked breakfast downstairs. Everything in the breakfast buffet is of good quality and the coffee is hot and fresh, with everything being regularly replenished. The hotel offers good value for money; top marks to the well-trained staff.

Further Comments: The hotel was excellent, but the best part was the staff who were kind, helpful and smiling. The room was very clean, well equipped and everything worked well. the bathroom was quite big and the bed was comfy. All in all, we loved it.

Good Points: Cleanliness.
Bad Points: Smelt strongly of paint whenever windows were closed for any period of time (overnight, for safety, for example). We woke with headaches.

Good Points: The room was clean and comfortable.
Further Comments: The fire alarm was activated on the first night, (false alarm), but the manager dealt with the situation very well, despite some very disgruntled guests at 2.45am, who objected to having to stand outside until we got the all clear. Obviously he was just doing his job and he did it very well. On checking out we asked about a refund for the first night and this was done immediately without any quibble. Restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was good.
