Good Points: Warm, welcoming and comfortable.
Bad Points: An executive room was booked but I thought it rather samll. When I queried it I was told that standard and budget rooms were available...but I dread to think what size they were.

Good Points: The hotel was small and friendly staff. Very nice dining room and bar area
Bad Points: There were a few minor imperfections of like dust on top of the wardrobe and dust in the corners of the room, otherwise the room was clean and comfortable.
Further Comments: All information given before booking was as stated. We thought that the hotel was closer to the center of Chelmsford than it was.

Good Points: Everything and its closeness to the town centre
Further Comments: The hotel looked clean on the outside which to my view catches your eye as you drive by, the reception area was clean and clear, all the staff were friendly and cheerful and the room its self was excellent.I found all the imfomation that i needed to know about the hotel when i booked online

Good Points: Comfortable room, pleasant eating areas with good menus
Bad Points: Carpets in public areas have seen better days especially stairs, no lift and very narrow corridors
Further Comments: Comfortable hotel, good value for money but I wouldn't like to have to get to some of the upper floor rooms with heavy/bulky luggage

Good Points: Easy access to main routes. Large car park, nice garden. Very good food.
Bad Points: Small window in executive room - a fan would have been nice, it was a hot weeekend!
