Good Points: it was comfortable
Bad Points: it was a bit worn and shabby
Further Comments: before booking this hotel i would like to have known the restaurant was going to be closed on the evening we stayed (31/12/07), and that the hotel bar would close at 10.40pm

Good Points: The accommodation was nice and comfortable and kept well cleaned.
Bad Points: It was a bit far out form town as expected.
Further Comments: Even though the hotel was a bit further out of town than thought, i was very happy with the accommadation. the staff was nice, the room was nice clean and spacious. My overall stay was very enjoyable and the food was excellent also. thankyou from lotti in burnley.

Further Comments: i would have liked to know whether breakfast was included, the staff mentioned nothing about breakfast times when we checked in so i assumed it didnt however when i checked out and had a reciept it stated it did. online booking allows 3 adults to be put in one room i was told during check in that this was not the case however it was allowed as my online booking form allowed it.

Good Points: Good size room ~ light and spacious for 2 adults and 1 child. Hotel amenities just right for a short stay Good value taking into account that breakfast was included.
Bad Points: The hotel room was looking a little tired. Although the bathroom was cleaned to a reasonable standard, the tiles had seen better days and the bath was badly pitted and scratched.
Further Comments: Overall, good standard of accommodation for the price charged. The hotel bar and restaurant were of good quality with a reasonable selection of meals. A pity I didn't realise you could arrange for more (or alternative) pillows before retiring for the night! I found the pillow information in a drawer the following morning, after sleeping on a too hard pillow. All in all, we would consider returning to this hotel as it offers good value in an area close to family and friends. The staff were friendly and approachable.
