Lampeter Hotel near Bournemouth: Bournemouth Hotels

Good Points: Location just next to Bournemouth park
Bad Points: My room was gloomy and just underneath the water tanks
Further Comments: This is a lovely hotel - I have stayed there before. The hotel is clean and bright - but the room they gave me this time had only a tiny window and so it was gloomy. The bathroom was bright and airy though.

Good Points: The room was brilliant with a view over the Winter Gardens. The Hotel was fantastic & the staff most helpfull.

Good Points: Convenience of being in quiet area but only a few minutes walk to the town centre
Further Comments: Room was totally adequate for our needs. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the bar / dining area was very up to date following a recent refurb.

Good Points: Central Location
Bad Points: Groups staying that caused a disturbance all night and numerous guests had to get up in the early hours to tell them to be quiet as there was no night staff.
Further Comments: good central location, but unfortunately allows groups of hens/ stags to stay who caused noise in the early hours with room parties and no night staff to quiten them. Guest had to repeatedly ask them to be quiet. would not have booked if we knew that groups were staying there. Breakfast was adequate but no continental option.

Good Points: Good value for money. Central.
Bad Points: One bedroom window did not work. The grubby balcony.
Further Comments: A very pleasant hotel. Good value for money. Central for the town and beach. Friendly staff and good food.

Good Points: Our bedroom had a lovely balcony (the only one in the hotel). Our room was a double large room, however all the other rooms were quite small. The bathroom was adequate but quite small.
Bad Points: Small bathroom but it was clean! the TV was not working properly and the bathtub taps were quite loose....
Further Comments: Good medium size family hotel. Good Bar/restaurant on ground floor overlooking the lower gardens. Small car park at front of hotel. Nice and friendly staff. There were 10 of us staying in the same hotel and all of them had tiny rooms. We were fortunate to get the best room at the hotel as it had a beautiful balcony with table and chairs!

Good Points: There was wireless internet in the hotel and I was lucky enough to have a signal in my room I could log on to (not guaranteed)
Bad Points: There was no room service offered or own food alowed in the hotel. As a woman traveling alone I don't always like to sit in a restraunt by myself and eat an evening meal.
Further Comments: a nice place with adequet parking, and easy to find as it is near the Bournemouth International Center (lots of signs to that)

Good Points: Very helpful and friendly staff,good breakfast, cleanliness of Hotel, excellent location.
Further Comments: We enjoyed a very good stay at the Hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times, the meals were very good in a very pleasant restaurant, the location of the Hotel was excellent, being in the centre of the gardens, and very close to the town centre. We would have liked a bit more information with finding the Hotel, as we got a bit lost on arrival, apart from that. excellent!!!
