| Good Points: Everything! Cannot fault the hotel - one of the best I've stayed in at this price level. Room, breakfast, internet access, price - all great. |
| Bad Points: Some might not like the style of the restaurant next door that provides the evening meal. It's quite a young, trendy (and noisy)place. However, food and service were excellent!!! |
| Further Comments: Would heartedly recommend - especially if you're visiting the University. Newly refurbished - it's excellent value for money. |

| Further Comments: Although the radiator and shower were both a problem, the manager did go out of his way to put things right for us. Unfortunately the
promised reduction on our bill did not materialise. |

good value for money, good rooms, loveley breakfast |

on arrival room very cold, no bar,noisy front rooms, we had to change rooms |
| Further Comments: we arrived at 3.30pm room very cold,room had not been used over a period of timeso there had been no heating put on, when you know people are arriving heating should be switched on, no hot water, room at the front very noisy, we had to switch to one facing the back. Rooms are very good everything you need, breakfast loveley.
Strange not to have a bar where people can mingle amd meet up with freinds. |

| Good Points: Have stayed in many hotels in Southampton.Hillside so far the best. |
| Bad Points: Bedroom at night too hot.Even after shutting down the central heating and opening the window. |
| Further Comments: This hotel does its utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possble. Would recommend the Hillside Hotel to any visitor to Southampton.On my next visit will certainly stay at the Hillside without question.Also the buffet breakfast was unbeatable. |
