Good Points: It was close to all amenitys
Bad Points: Was told that there were WALK-IN Showers for Disabled Father NO Rooms with this type of Shower ALL rooms had Baths even The rooms for disabled, Father very distressed!!
Further Comments: At Dinner, Food was nicely cooked though had no Garnish, everything was Brown!! Breakfast However, was excellant 5*!! Disabled Room on ground floor had window that faced a brick wall!!Didn't know if it was day or night!!

Bad Points: Requested a firm bed but request not acted upon; also requested top floor room, request not acted upon.
Further Comments: For an overnight stay, hotel was adequate. Would not have liked to sleep in bed for more than one night; much too soft.

Good Points: Comfortable, clean rooms. Convenient to town and motorways.
Bad Points: The car park. The bays are way too small and cars were parked on double yellow lines in the car part adjacent to the bays making it extremely difficult to get into or out of bays.

Bad Points: given wrong room at check in but corrected quickly. Lady who seated us at breakfast took our order for tea and coffee but none came until a sharp eyed young man noticed we had none!
Further Comments: see comments in the dislike section. But additionally, good location, pleasant staff, nice breakfast, comfortable bed.

Good Points: Quiet room and the air conditioning was quiet and effective
Bad Points: small room and needs freshening up.
Further Comments: Within walking distance of Old Portsmouth if you are up to a 20 minute walk. Closer to Clarence Pier that would be good for those with kids.

Good Points: Friendly staff,good clean facililties, comfortable lounge. Our room was very nice & the beds and pillows were very comfy.
Further Comments: We liked the friendly, relaxed atmosphere at this hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room had an adjoining door to the next room, which was of course locked but evenso I didnt like it being there and you could hear the people in it. I think you should be asked if you mind this type of room.

Further Comments: The hotel was well situated and we were lucky enough to get a car park space as there are not very many available Overall I was very satisfied with the hotel - it is a Holiday Inn and to be fair you know what to expect before you get there. It is well situated for Gunwharfe Quay and all associated attractions.
