Good Points: Proximity to city
Bad Points: It was dirty
Further Comments: I have stayed at this hotel before and been very happy however on this occasion the room was in quite a mess, the border hanging off the wall, pubic hair around the toilet, old coffee in mugs, old toothpaste in the glasses and the cold water tap didn't work. Unfortunately we didn't arrive till 1830 and needed to get ready very quickly to go out so we didn't address these problems until we checked out. The staff were very apologetic and very good and did discount the newspaper and charge for having breakfast in bed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel until the refurb is finished

Further Comments: Very comfortable, liked the spaciousness of the room. Looking forward to visiting again.

Further Comments: A very cosy warm hotel,well equipped bedroom, good quality towels excellent dinner and breakfast. Relaxing gardens with good views of the river. An excellent position with ample parking in quiet area. Easy access to Salisbury. Reception very helpful.

Good Points: the view was lovely and the room was a great size
Bad Points: little things like misfitting plug in basin so had to keep filling up and general need of a refurbishment
Further Comments: perfectly placed for the town and so nice and peaceful-very little noise either inside or out- it was worth the tray charge to enjoy the breakfast in the room overlooking the river

Further Comments: We were in transit to Cornwall from Essex and the hotel was roughly halfway. Whilst we did not have an evening meal at the hotel we were booked in for breakfast which was very tasty , and the staff were friendly

Good Points: The room was very spacious for our family. The view from the room was perfect & the children enjoyed sitting in the garden with the wildlife in the morning.
Bad Points: Unfortunately, they stopped serving a cook to order breakfast too early. There was mold in the bathroom & the wallpaper was riped.
Further Comments: For a short weekend stay this hotel was fair for the price since breakfast was included. However, they stopped serving cook to order breakfast too early. Eventhough the room was clean, it needs a little TLC (riped wallpaper & mold in bathroom). The location to the town center & Stonehenge is ideal. Likewise, we enjoyed the beautiful gardens and landscape.

Further Comments: We had a pleasant stay with a great breakfast. The location and views are the best features. The bar was disappointing, we were expecting it to be more olde worlde. It was neither one thing or another.

Good Points: large double room well situated to town centre and very peaceful
Further Comments: i dont need to write a long essay as hotel rooms do not vaty that much from hotel to hotel but the room we had was very large and excellant value for money

Good Points: Plenty of space. Room nicely furnished. Fantastic view!
Bad Points: Double bed was actually twin beds pushed together, and so was not particularly comfortable.
Further Comments: I was initially dissapointed that our Superior Double, was in the new part of the hotel, and was not the romantic four poster shown in the advertising. However, our room was spacious, and nicely furnished, and the view out over the river, with the fields and cathedral in the background, was really special. It would have been nicer if their had been a little more attention to detail (curtain pelmet was hanging off, and wallpaper border peeling). It would definately been better if there had been an actual double bed in the room, and not twin beds pushed together! Breakfast was fabulous, and there was plenty choice. Overall, I have to say we had a fantastic time, and got the romantic break we had been looking for.

Good Points: spacious family room. clean, lovely voews of the grounds.
Bad Points: unfortunately toilet seat was broken.
Further Comments: courteous staff, clean spacious accomodation. the surprise for us was you could see the top of the cathederal from our room, as well as the beautifull gardens and stream. also only a ten minute walk into town.

Good Points: The room was large and very comfortable, and the bathroom was also large. There was always plenty of hot water, it would be nice if the shower had a little more pressure.
Bad Points: The type of music played in the dining room. It was not exactly easy listening, but loud and for the younger generation.
Further Comments: My husband and I were very pleased with the accommodations. The food in the dining room was very good.

Good Points: The location on the river was beautiful, the hotel was friendly and we stayed in the original part, the room was absoulutly charming.The staff were friendly and helpful.
Further Comments: We would have liked to know or maybe we missed the information that the dining room was closed on the Sunday evening. We could have eaten in the bar however we didn't think we would be very comfortable in there. As it turned out it we probably should have eaten there because the dinner we had in Salisbury was not very good. The breakfast at the Legacy the next morning was great.
