Good Points: The character and ambience. The actual food was gorgeous.
Bad Points: The mattress was terrible. There was a huge dip in the mattress which meant that neither my husband or I could get a comfortable night's sleep. They certainly need to upgrade their mattresses!

Good Points: A quality country inn,with real charm and character. Converted barns make up an excellent choice of 3 types of rooms. Our second stay at The Pheasant, we will be going back for more of the same. Great rooms, great food, lovely staff, a really chilled out inn in beautiful Cheshire countryside

Good Points: Nicely appointed room, good restaurant
Further Comments: Lovely location, very quiet, excellent car parking, and very friendly and helpful staff. Room well appointed with excellent bathroom.

Bad Points: rooms were hot from the heating in the bathroom being on continously
Further Comments: we thought overall the accomodation was excellent the food was extremely good and the hotel staff very friendly.would definately recommend the Pheasant Hotel

Good Points: The views,the service, the decore both in the pub and in our room and the food was absolutely wonderful!
Bad Points: An outside room shone in our room which we couldn't delete with our curtain and the floor-boards above us were a bit noisey in the morning which woke us.
Further Comments: We had a very short stay here but we would definately go back for the stunning views and the excellent food including our breakfast in the morning!we might just ask for an upstairs room if we were going to be fussy! All the staff were friendly polite and professional what a plesent change!!! go and enjoy!

Good Points: Friendly staff, excellent food and extremely nicely appointed room with an outlook over Cheshire.
Bad Points: The only frustration was the shower which is one of those modern electrically controlled ones which don't always provide a constant even temperature.
Further Comments: We intend to return and stay again, certainly would recommend it to others for both food and accommodation. Not easy to find on a dark winters evening however.

Further Comments: The accomodation was comfortable and full of character and the facilities were clean and well maintained. Dinner in the restaurant and breakfast the following morning were lovely and the staff were polite and helpful. There was also a pleasing selection of local ales on the bar and (had it been less foggy) a great view across the surrounding countryside. We had no trouble finding the place as the directions given by the hotel were clear and easy to follow. Would definately recommend to friends and family.
