Good Points: very clean interesting historic property
Bad Points: bathroom a bit chilly on top floor
Further Comments: Although we only stayed for one night, we would certainly stay again if in the area. Found on the internet, picked from many due to good previous customer reviews eg. clean rooms, friendly staff. Some reviews were not so enthusiastic about the evening meals. Why I dont know, we stayed in to eat at night and were more than pleasently surprised with the quality and quantity of the food.

Good Points: Extremely friendly courteous staff, very helpful
Further Comments: staff were very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Room comfortable and well appointed. Nice garden to sit out in - couple of swings for children. Menu was a bit dated but food was very reasonably priced and generous portions.

Good Points: the hotel was excellent no hassel and the food superb
Further Comments: we enjoyed our stay and everyone was so helpful and great value for the price.It was very close to all the areas we needed to see.Overall a nice comfortable stay.

Good Points: That it wsas set back from the road and that the room was clean
Further Comments: I was particularly impressed by the receptionist and the night porter. The receptionist was extremely helpful, even extending this help to locating the building that I had to attend the next day. the Night Porter was attentive and quick when making my breakfast so that I could depart in a timely fashion

Good Points: The rooms were very spacious and the staff were extremely helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and good value for money on the 2 for 1 deals.
Further Comments: Hotel was in excellent location to say we were not familiar with the area and it had a personal touch because it wasn't a large hotel. The only thing I could pick on would be that at breakfast time there were a few chips on the floor from the night before in the restaurant area.

Bad Points: schwankende Warmwasserversorgung, Bettdecke (Laken + kratzige Wolldecke)
Further Comments: Wir hatten ein sehr schￃﾶnes gerￃﾤumiges Zimmer mit einem offensichtlich recht neuen (sehr sauberen) Bad. Trotz unserer sehr spￃﾤten Ankunft ging die Anmeldung sehr schnell und problemlos. Die Bettwￃﾤsche gefiel uns nicht so gut, da es nur ein Laken, das gegen zwei kratzige Wolldecken geschlagen wurde gab. Ein richtiges Federbett wￃﾤre angenehmer gewesen.

Further Comments: Teenager in party would have liked more sausages at breakfast and tomatoes and mushrooms were dried up on Monday, everything else fine.

Good Points: Large well furnished room. Food very good, location good. It was a visit to places my grandparents lived some 20 years ago so it was quite nostalgic
Bad Points: Room above bar noisy until early hours but staff did apologise
Further Comments: Which room we were giong to have, could have contacted hotel. Altogether it was a lovely place very handy for town and the sea front

Good Points: comfort, service and price
Bad Points: the wash basin in my room was so small it was impossible to get washed, i did coment when i checked out. but everything else was fine.
Further Comments: i had a very pleasent stay, very relaxing and i will stay again if the price is right.

Good Points: Very clean fresh, wasn't an other un personal four walled room, had a genuinely war and personal feel to the hotel and room.
Further Comments: Although it was a short stay we both felt warmly welcomed as not all young couples are. I apologise for not having any constructive criticism. thank you for a pleasant stay.

Bad Points: Noise from other guests particularly in early hours of morning
Further Comments: Food and service were excellent. The hotel was very convenient for town centre and beach. The ambience was pleasant and comfortable.
