Good Points: The service was really good, and the staff was really nice, they were always ready to help out when needed. The prices for drinks and dinner were fair. The breakfast was very nice, with a lot of choices.
Bad Points: The room was rather small and the bathroom was not very clean.
Further Comments: As the hotel is quit cheap, we had expected that some things would be a little less luxurious. For us this was the space and cleanliness of our room. But this was compensated by the friendly and helpful staff. The food was also really good and as said the prices are really fair. So overall we had a good stay.

Further Comments: The manager was very helpful and eager to solve our problems and queries. We had originally booked twin rooms to save money but when they realised that they had double-booked us the manager gave all of us single rooms for the same price. Another example of his problem-solving was giving my dad an alternate room so that he was nearer the communial bathroom and providing us a cable so that we could use a playstation that we had brought up. The bar was open and had a happy hour which was perfect for a group of lads on a night out! The location of the hotel was excellent we easy access to taxi's/buses for the town centre etc. The value for money was great too.

Further Comments: I only needed to sleep somewhere quiet and the hotel was quiet and reasonably comfortable.

Further Comments: We have stayed next door in butlers which is a better hotel, both hotels are in essence one hotel but two in price and comfort . Both hotels need a good revanp As a workmans hotel its fine with a good American Breakfast but We would not stay there again

Bad Points: Room was badly in need of redecoration
Further Comments: Basic accommodation - not being en-suite wasn't a problem as the shower was directly outside my room. Clean and comfortable but shabby and desperately in need of redecoration and my room was the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in - there wasn't room for a bedside table or a wardrobe!

Bad Points: Shabby dated room. Door lock tempremental. No sheet on the bed. Would not stay there again by choice.
Further Comments: Hotel was of a low standard. The manager was friendly and did make sure that there was a sheet put on the bed when I informed him that I could not sleep in a bed with only a blanket and top cover, he showed us the knack of locking the room door and he did give us a replacement bulb to put in the bedside light. The sound insulation was poor.

Bad Points: 1)Noisy with ill behaved co-guests 2)No telephone service in the room 3)No internet/wireless free connection 4)Room too small for size of bed-which I had to squeeze past to access bathroom 5)Door of room next to mine so close I could hear every word of neighbours conversation and entry/exit 6)Crude conversation being held over breakfast by the other guests, shouting across me etc-I found this both irritating and intimidating.
Further Comments: I would have liked better directions, to have been made aware that I would need to pay for my room when I arrived. I was under the impression that I had paid in advance via the internet.

Good Points: The staff were terrific and really catered for our needs. They were polite, friendly and very helpful.
Bad Points: The only thing I would say is that we were below the laundry room, and although the noise from the machines wasn't a problem, you could really hear people walking around!! Other than that though - no negative comments at all.
Further Comments: I would definitely stay here again. My friends were all impressed with the hotel and its service and I would recommend to anyone.

Good Points: Conveniently located for Leeds and surrounding area. Friendly staff,Homely atmosphere,Good food, comfortable lounge with a libray.
Bad Points: Basement room for none smokers at one point had a smell from the drains which fortunatly did not last too long.
Further Comments: This was our first stay in the Boundry hotel having stayed in the adjoining Butlers Hotel on two previous occasions. As we were able to have use of the lounge and dining room in the Butlers served by the same staff we found the Boundry excellant value as it is somewhat cheaper than the Butlers. The only difference is in the room size. We found the staff very helpful and accommodating.
