Further Comments: Apart from the slightly below standard sound proofing, I enjoyed my stay. The staff were very efficient and pleasant.

Further Comments: My overall reveiw of our stay is that we were treated very friendly, we asked for dvice on places to visit and things to do and the staff were very helpfull. My partner Amanda found the Hotel on the internet and instantly fell in love with the quaintness of it, the virtual tour then gave us the incentive we needed to make our decision to book the room.

Further Comments: The name of the hotel speaks for itself. While the room was comfortable the hotel is geared around the restaurant. Well suited for guests who expect to leave after breakfast and return in the evening.

Bad Points: Seeing myself in the mirror in the morning. Otrherwise OK.

Further Comments: After a simple booking process we found this to be an excellent choice for a short stay. The room was comfortable and tastefully appointed. The food was excellent and well presented. Swinton is a small village with apparently no other amenities however the surro unding countryside is beautiful and certainly worth the visit.
