Good Points: We liked the location, the comfortable room, the staff, the menu, the quality of the food, the extent of the wine list, and the geniality of the host.
Bad Points: All the rooms were a little too warm.
Further Comments: Overall we had a very enjoyable two night stay, with excellent food both at breakfast time and in the evening. We would certainly recommend The Wheatsheaf for it's menu and wine list and also compliment the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff.

Further Comments: Excellent hotel which was very good value when booked on line and far better than big chain rooms. Food is excellent but maybe a little pricey for casual business user. Will definately stay again when next in this area.

Good Points: The room and ensuite facilities were excellent.
Bad Points: The rooms were a lttle noisy due to hearing guests walking around in the rooms above.
Further Comments: The restaurant in the hotel was both friendly and the atmosphere seemed very family orientated. The food and choice for both dinner and breakfast was second to none. A very relaxing stay.

Good Points: THE HOTEL AND ITS STAFF WERE 1ST CLASS. SERVICE WASH EXCELLENT AND THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY. WE WOULD DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN.

Good Points: Clean and tidy with good facilities, excellent sized bathroom, not the usual squashed room. Excellent restaurant.
Further Comments: Upon arrival the staff where helpful, checking in was easy and the bags taken to the room (nice touch). The room was clean and well presented with a full selection of teas. The restaurant was relaxed, clean, light and airy, the food was excellent - having stayed in hotels all over the UK in the last two years some could do well to visit to see how a steak should be cooked. The staff were always available to deal with anything and the service was excellent.

Good Points: The hotel was relaxed and the food and service was first class. When we visit scotland again, we know were we are staying.
