Good Points: The hotel was very pleasant to stay in and very close to local amenities. There were no night time disturbances and the staff were very friendly.
Further Comments: Very enjoyable. We would certainly consider this hotel again if staying in Dundee.

Bad Points: The place stinks. The rooms are tiny. The beds are uncomfortable. The decor is revolting. I could go on...

Good Points: I booked a simgle room but was upgraded to a smart newly furnished double room wheich was a nice surprise

Good Points: Refurbished room - very clean. Excellent views of the Firth of Tray.
Bad Points: Restaurant was closed for refurbishment

Good Points: Good sized rooms. Very nice breakfast and evening meal. close to shops which served the purpose of the weekend away.
Bad Points: the shower did not work as it should have even after a complaint was made, on one occasion the toilet did not flush either believe it was a problem with cold water supply.
Further Comments: Very little, what we were told about the hotel was generally what we got. Very dissapointed that facilties did not work properly though. The noise from various parties over the weekend was a little distracting also, perhaps letting people know about the conference being used for this purpose regularly would be helpful as well.

Good Points: Our room was spacious with a nice view.
Bad Points: The room was very hot as we appeared to be above the kitchen area where you also got the strong smell of food being cooked. The floor boards in the corridor and also within the room were very squeeky so you heard people moving about. There also appeared to be quite a bit of hair on the bathroom floor ?? The first morning of cooked breakfast the food could have been warmer.
Further Comments: The area was very central and great for shopping. Only disadvantage was the amount of Student Bars within the area so we found we had to go quite a bit before we could get a more mature bar for a quiet drink.

Good Points: clean room. Pleasant staff
Bad Points: hotel is tired and needs refurbishment. did not feel we wanted to eat in the hotel- restaurant named Nosey Parkers did not attract us by name or appearance. It also seemed expensive. have been to better hotels in the Best Western chain.

Good Points: The accommodation was good, nice room, good bathroom. Tea making facilities etc. Needed an iron and it was delivered very quickly.
Bad Points: We were on the third floor and the lift was out for 3 days for its service. This was barely acceptable for us, but we were glad we had not brought our elderly releatives along as some people had done. Also although we arrived through the car park, it was not until we tried to get out again that we realised we needed a number code and had to return to the reception desk to ask for it. It would have been of more help if it was provided, or there was an intercom system from the barrier to the reception area.
Further Comments: It was a pleasant hotel, central for the City of Dundee. My daughter had stayed in in before and it was ideal for our purposes. We returned for lunch which was also good as was the service in the restaurant.
