Good Points: Excellent location for the castle and town. The accommodation was clean and in good order, although the shower would benefit from a make-over. The breakfast was also plentiful and well cooked. The beds were comfortable and the linen was spotless.
Bad Points: Nothing really.
Further Comments: Having read some of the comments on the web-site we were a little concerned, however as the hotel was situated in a prime position we decided to risk it. To our pleasant surprise we found our concerns unneccesary, our room was acceptable, the staff helpful and pleasant and the food excellent. It was without doubt very good value for the money paid.

Good Points: A very nice room and a very pleasent and helpfull staff,we will certainly come back again.
Bad Points: nothing
Further Comments: The hotel is just in the right place,not far from the station and very close to the centre of the town. Even though the traffic is constant past the hotel you never know its there,the staff are very plesant and do all they can to make your stay a happy one plus the food is excellent. All in all a very enjoyable experiance

Good Points: Close to town centre shops and facilities. Within very close proximity of excellent resteraunts. The staff are very friendly and very helpful.
Bad Points: The rooms are very clean and tidy, however, a degree of moderisation would be appropriate. I stayed for two night and in one of the rooms the TV was unviewable.
Further Comments: Excellent value for money. Had I paid ￂﾣ100+ per night I would have been disappointed but the standard of accomodation and foors was fair and properly priced. Yes I will stay there again.

Bad Points: Condition of room and coridors could do with some maintenance
Further Comments: We were not informed of checkout time or how to access the room after hours. As mentioned above it could do with some minor maintenance but overall it was clean and comfortable.

Good Points: Located in a pub and central in Warwick
Further Comments: The description of 'pub with rooms' is correct. The room we stayed in had been part modernised with new bathroom and carpets. Its basic but perfectly adequate as somewhere to sleep after you've been out having fun!

Good Points: Good beer and breakfast
Bad Points: A bit tired, but perfectly adequate for me.
Further Comments: The description of 'a pub with rooms' is accurate, and the price was very competitive. It is perfectly adequate for a business stay, however, my wife would no doubt expect a higher standard of decor. The real ale was well kept and the breakfast of a good standard. I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to friends on business trips or working as contractors. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would dispute the distance to the castle as being 50m as the gatehouse is a good few minutes walk.

Good Points: Close to town centre. Easy access to NEC. Clean and comfortable, nice friendly staff with food and bar all on site.
Bad Points: Breakfast - too greasy and would have liked to be able to have a choice of cereals and fruit and more toast.
Further Comments: Generally and very pleasant experience. Our dinner, wine and beer was very good. Appreciated having real ale available. We enjoyed our walk around Warwick although we didn't visit the castle as this was rather expensive and we only had an hour or so before it closed.

Good Points: The room was basic but clean. Got what we paid for.
Bad Points: The checking in process was poor. All of our details were wrong and it took a long time to sort out. Not a good start to the holiday. We were informed that food was served till 8pm so we were very shocked to learn that they were no longer serving when we came down for our evening meal at 7pm.
Further Comments: The room was comftable and clean. However we had a very disturbed nights sleep on both nights due to unusual noises. The pub was close to the town and historical sights, which was a definate plus. Dont think we would stay here again. However, it was very cheap for the two night break.

Good Points: Location, restaurant meals and service, price
Bad Points: TV in room did not work and although reported was not repaired or replaced. Shower not very good. Children playing outside in the car park after dark whilst parents were inside and on one occasion fired a BB gun at our ground floor room window.
Further Comments: Other than the couple of minor problems, the children were dealt with but were back outside on the following evening, the staff were pleasant enough, the meals were excellent and the overall value was good.

Good Points: central location
Bad Points: no lamps...!, all light switches operated central light only, felt like B lackpool illuminations, also very noisy bathroom fan!
Further Comments: Was more or less as we expected, no real problems, reasonable price, polite staff.

Good Points: Ensuite facilities and the inclusion of full English Breakfast which was excellent.
Bad Points: It's a picky point (and seems to be accepted in English pubs) but as a non-smoker I was aware of the smell of smoke in the pub and along the hallway to accommodation.
Further Comments: I had a wonderful time at The Crown & Castle Inn, The staff were friendly and courteous and I felt at home in the restaurant where excellent meals at reasonable rates were served. Time permitting, I would have liked to extend my stay and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.
