| Good Points: Location |
| Bad Points: In need of maintenance and a through clean. Show cubicle doors should be changed to allow ease of entry and exit. There was a distinct smell of acrid smoke from some rooms into the hallways. |
| Further Comments: The booking in was delayed as the staff are not in attendance even when the bell was pushed. The decorative order is poor and in need of decoration. In addition the flooring needs to be attended to in the hallways. The boards are loose and ill fitted.
The rooms are of adequate size but are poorly maintained and the decorative order and cleanliness is very bad. Few of the guest toiletries were provided and the tea and coffee was not replenished for the next day.
Breakfast was from 07:15 but was delayed until opened at 07:25 on the second day. The previous day the services was perfunctory and brusque.
There car park was always full and not able to park within the hotel grounds and had to use off street parking.
At breakfast I overheard some other guests remark on much the same issues I have made. |

| Good Points: Clean and adequate |
| Bad Points: Broken door handle to room made locking and unlocking from both sides difficult. As a female - this made me uncomfortable and didn't sleep that well. I was also concerned that in the event of a fire the lock would have hindered my exit. |
| Further Comments: I would have liked to have known that food wasn't available after 7pm but apart from that and my unrest about the door lock- the staff were welcoming, my room clean and the experience was otherwise pleasant. |

| Good Points: Bed linen spotless. Tea and coffee making provided. Very important !!! Room and facilities very clean. Good wardrobe and drawer space excellent if staying for a few days. |
| Bad Points: Parking very poor. Staff helped to provide a space for our car. Power socket for kettle in room did not work. |
| Further Comments: Not as close to the castle as stated in hotelroom.com. Restaurant closed at 7.00pm. This is a little early as the day we went to the castle it did not close until 7.00pm. Luckily we were at the hotel by 6.00pm. Food very good value for money. Breakfast excellent. |

| Bad Points: Room, Bathroom, Noise. |
| Further Comments: Room was small and noisy, ie no double glazing or screen glass.
Toilet seat was loose. The shower only got hot enough when the basin cold tap was running. Heater in bathroom did not work.
Seating in the bar and dining area were full of holes and grubby. |

| Good Points: The bedding and towels were clean, the breakfast was adequate. |
| Bad Points: Poorly maintained and decorated, no hair dryer, shower or shampoo or shower gel. radiator broken couldn't control the heat. |
| Further Comments: The hotel is situated on a very busy road junction, so traffic noise noticeable all the time through the night. On street parking very hard to find with taxi company working outside the hotel. If you are happy with the most basic of rooms and don't mind paying top price this hotel is for you. |

| Good Points: With my fiancᅢᄅ, we liked the fact that we had a private bathroom and that the hotel was in the town centre of Warwick. We liked the free parking for the car, and also that we could have some free hot coffee whenever we wanted it! |
| Bad Points: We disliked the fact that windows could hardly be opened! We also disliked the fact that nobody cleaned our room. |
| Further Comments: This hotel is quite expensive especially as regards the fact that your room is not cleaned regularly, which is disturbing when you are a young couple who is having a break in Warwickshire for a weekend! The full English breakfast was quite good but probably prepared some days ago or the day before and put in the fridge! Yet, the parking was very good.. The location is a great advantage if you want to visit Warwick, Warwick Castle or even Stratford-Upon-Avon which is not far from the hotel and which is so nice! You are in a short walking distance from many very nice pubs, restaurants or brasseries.. Enjoy it anyway! |

| Good Points: The place could do with a update |
| Further Comments: Improvement is needed inside the rooms as the radiator in the room was on high all the time and couldn't switch it off. Bed was hard and lumpy. |

| Good Points: Cleanliness & comfort |
| Bad Points: Size, parking and noise. |
| Further Comments: On the plus side, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. The inn served good ale, well kept by a competent cellarman. The breakfast was adequate.
However, the room was small and sparsely furnished, with no double-glazing to the main road outside, which meant a somewhat sleepless night. There was secure parking available, but only 6 spaces, which meant that by the time I arrived (18.00 Fri) they had all been taken up - and with so little room in the car park it was mighty hard to manouevre back out again. It just seemed like there was a lack of attention to detail, such as the toilet seat and lid not matching the rest of the bathroom suite. |

| Good Points: close to castle and town centre. nice ambience. comfortable and relaxing atmosphere |
| Bad Points: rooms were very basic and in need of some decoration. |
| Further Comments: generally got what we paid for. comfortable but basic accomadation that was ideally situated for getting to the castle which is the reason we visited Warwick.
there was a lovely carvery on the sunday we arrived and the standard of food was very good overall, however did feel the staff were quite dithery and had to hunt around for someone on two occasions to serve breakfast. |

| Good Points: Central location |
| Bad Points: The hotel is scruffy and worn out - it needs a total make-over. |
| Further Comments: A town centre pub which needs total re-furbishment. Clean bed and towels but needs painting, new carpets and new upholstery. Excellent breakfast but the state of the room put us off! |

| Good Points: Breakfast was excellent, full english with a lovely large pot of tea. The staff were friendly and helpful. |
| Bad Points: The room was cold on the Friday night and on the Saturday night was like being in a sauna. The shower did not have a lot of power to it. |
| Further Comments: The hotel is looking a bit tired and shabby but was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would I go again? Yes I think I probably would. |

| Good Points: Central Location in Warwick |
| Bad Points: Shower tiles a bit dodgy ! |
| Further Comments: Staff and food OK but rooms basic. Shower decor tired with tiles requiring attention. Pub good with choice of real ale.
If you want a weekend break in a central location in Warwich and dont expect the Ritz, you can have a good laugh in this pub/rooms!
Fire alarm went off at 1pm in the morning (false alarm ) so evening entertainment included. |

| Good Points: Location. Dinner was tastey and good VFM. Staff were friendly and helpful. |
| Bad Points: Overall fixtures and fittings in rooms and hotel in general were very tatty and dated. Bed was rock hard. Heating didn't work (the manager was apologetic and provided an electric radiator which worked fine). |
| Further Comments: More or less as expected - you don't get a palace for this price! |

| Good Points: CLEAN |
| Bad Points: SLIGHTLY SMALL BUT PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE
NO REMOTE FOR TV |
| Further Comments: Excellent Carvery on arrival. Car parking adequate if requiring a little manoeuvering to get out. Nice and quiet in the annexe. Good breakfast. Not quite within 50 metres of castle gates as suggested on website though! Overall enjoyed our stay and would come back. |

| Good Points: It was very handy for the local event we were visiting. |
| Bad Points: Some of the rooms were of poor appearance, whilst others had obviously been semi refurbed. The bathroom in the single room was not suitable unless you were extremely small. |
| Further Comments: Whilst the staff and food were very good, the hotel does require a major refurb of the bedrooms. One of the beds in Room 18 was obviously broke long before we stayed there but had not been replaced. Carpets in bathrooms tend to be unhygenic and should be replaced. We had requested non smoking rooms but unfortnately one of our rooms that we booked was a smoking room. We were not told this when checking in. |
