Good Points: Period building in the right part of town.
Bad Points: Hotel is in dire need of refurbishment/modernization.
Further Comments: Hotel is worth about ￂﾣ10 a night at most. It is a no frills hotel that is rundown.

Good Points: heating worked well. We were able to turn it on and off. Bedroom and bed very comfortable. Everything very clean and well maintained. Lovely Georgian styling with high ceilings and cornices. For the cost the accommodation was excellent
Bad Points: A couple of drinking glasses for the bathroom would be nice. We used a tea cup for the bathroom after brushing.
Further Comments: Location excellent. Room was just fine - very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was excellent and very nicely served by a charming young woman. very good value for money. Only one thing spoiled our stay and that was the noise from the bar on saturday night. We had not realized that the bar did not close until 2:00 am and that our floor had the public washroom for the ladies. The noise was awful - banging doors loud talking. We were told next morning that a floor higher up would have been quieter for us. We liked the hotel so much that we are prepared to give it another try - and hope that a room on a higher floor will help. We don't mind noise until midnight but expect things to be conducive to sleep after that.
