Further Comments: Basic en suite accommodation but very clean and comfortable. Excellent for the price. Just remember to take your own kettle etc if you like an early morning cuppa without leaving your room.

Good Points: Clean and comfortable
Bad Points: No kettle. ￃﾂￂﾣ1.20 is very expensive for a cup of tea (especially considering you can drink as much as you like with your breakfast for ￃﾂￂﾣ2.90!
Further Comments: This is a very good value hotel, and the breakfast was particularly good value, if you are happy with cereals and toast, etc (for which most places charge you nearer ￃﾂￂﾣ5).

Good Points: The bed was relatively comfortable, the room was kept warm which is good for the winter
Bad Points: The room was far too small, and it was noisy

Bad Points: floor / carpet was dirty, needed a good hoover and poss cleaning

Good Points: Room was quiet. Central location ... walking distance of main station.
Bad Points: Accommodation fine. Cutlery at breakfast was dirty. Staff off-hand at reception on arrival.

Good Points: the hotel reception was very clean.and the price was exellent.
Bad Points: the walls in the room could do with a lick of paint and or a good clean. think that is down to the cleaners who should take more pride in there work.
Further Comments: the hotel was over all a deal and the reception clean and fresh.free parking brilliant and protected. all i have to say is your management need to sort out room cleaners as the marks on the wall could of been removed with soap and water. a bit of pride in their work would of made the stay even better.i called friends who where in the area and they came to stay in the hotel when they saw it and the price.

Good Points: The price & the helpfulness of staff
Bad Points: The only criticism I have is that I like to use a shower faucet that is not permanently attached to the wall for more thorough cleaning but not many places have this.
Further Comments: Great value for money, even the snacks downstairs are not artificially inflated as you would expect! I plan to use this place again when I return to Birmingham later in the year.

Good Points: Only a 2 minute taxi fare from the centre costing no more than ￃﾂￂﾣ5, good value for the price of the rooms.
Bad Points: Staff seemed to be very confused by simple, what i would have imagined common for a hotel, questions and were not particularly helpful in undertanding what I actually meant. Only 1 plug and on the other side of the room to the mirror (!)

Good Points: Convenience and price for the area
Bad Points: For some reason we were in a Disabled persons room. Very impersonal. Water in the wet room would not flow away so that after the shower and once dressed you could not re enter the bathroom. There was no television remote control
Further Comments: The hotel was in a convenient position for our purposes. In the dark it was somewhat difficult to find and there were no visible signs directing you to the hotel or car park entrance. Extremely impersonal. Abox with no trimmings hence the price. Hotel was clean and staff helpful and efficient. Breakfast represented good value for money. Our bathroom/wet room was designed for a wheelchair user, but the water did not run away properly and if you then needed to return to the bathroom you would have got very wet feet.

Good Points: the price and hoe near it was to new street station
Bad Points: that there were no where to make a cup of tea in room and the tv picture kept playing up..
Further Comments: the hotel was alright for the price but i just liked to have a place in the room to make a hot drink when wanted then going down stairs, which cost more. Also had a trouble booking my room when i got to hotel due the info i had on my email was different to what was on hotel computer.

Good Points: The convenience and friendliness of the staff and great value for money with sufficient amenities.
Bad Points: The lack of adeqaute car parking was very poor.
Further Comments: I feel you need to make it a lot clearer that this hotel has insufficient car parking available. I would use this hotel again but only travel by rail or taxi to it.

Good Points: It was clean, comfortable and basic, and it smelled fresh.
Bad Points: A kettle to make a hot drink would have been welcome and also a mirror on the wall near to the plug for drying my hair.
Further Comments: Maybe it should be made clear that there are no hot drinks facilities in the rooms in the information. A hand set for the tv might have been handy and at breakfast bananas would have been good to have with the cereal, or apricots/prunes.

Good Points: Hotel is well situated for the centre of Birmingham. Facilities although basic, are excellent. A simple breakfast but plenty of it. Snacks and drinks available 24hours at moderate cost.
Bad Points: Rooms are fairly small. However this was no more than we expected. Although advertised for up to 3, I would not be comfortable with that number in the room, my being built for cumfort.
Further Comments: When booking the rooms I could not believe the accomodation being offered for such a low price. No other Birmingham city centre hotel available on-line came close. Our first impression was good. The hotel is bright, clean and well staffed. My only complaint listed above was a small pin-prick in an otherwise excellent stay.
