Bad Points: No mirror and toilets & shower were very basic and need improving
Further Comments: Overall okay but 2 points mentioned sbove needs to be adressed. also smokers outside making noise.

Bad Points: slight noice early hours of morning from the pubs, but which place does not.
Further Comments: I didnt really know that the accomodation was so fantasticly central to all the best tourist spots.

Further Comments: Remarquable gentillesse des Ecossais en gￃﾩnￃﾩral et du personnel de la rￃﾩception de l'hￃﾴtel en particulier toujours ￃﾠ l'ￃﾩcoute de ses clients. Un excellent rapport qualitￃﾩ prix, de mￃﾪme que l'hￃﾴtel est situￃﾩ dans un joli quartier de la ville. Rￃﾩserver en ligne est trￃﾨs facile et il n'y a pas de mauvaise surprise...

Good Points: Convenience, location, room rate!
Bad Points: Noisy, no mirror in room
Further Comments: This accommodation was booked for 4 friends attending a college reunion.We would have liked to have had a self contained flat for 4. Is that a possibility? Although we were told the entire building was non smoking there was a strong smell of smoke everywhere. The noise from the Three Sisters was LOUD and after a brief pause boilers or something fired up at 6.15am. Not the most restful nightI had ever spent! The staff were friendly and helpful I feel for the price, the whole experience was fine. It suited our needs. Thank you

Good Points: We liked the convenience of the kitchen/sitting areas (which we had to ourselves) and the location so close to town. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the security good. Also good was a parking space.
Bad Points: The early morning street sweeper made it impossible to have the window open. The door closers were vicious and constant banging of the doors an irritant - the closers are adjustable!! The pillows are too thin and the en suite bathroom facilities were not.

Bad Points: it was very noisey outside at night
Further Comments: I would have liked to have known that it was opposite a night club and therefore noisey. I also would have liked to have known more about the facilities which were v good.

Good Points: Clean and comfortable. All that is needed for staying overnight.
Bad Points: The noise from the courtyard / car parking area echoed and seemed very loud.

Good Points: I liked the fact that I could receive calls direct while staying in the room.
Bad Points: The stairs up to the check in section! As I had to carry everything myself (I was travelling alone) it was a bit of a haul.

Good Points: Having a kitchen was great, as well as a common room. Also, the location is great - right downtown.
Bad Points: No elevator :-P and no internet at the hostel.
Further Comments: A great place to stay in Edinburgh - right downtown, close the old city and all the attractions, but also in walking distance of grocery stores. The facilites were good. Only downside was that internet was not available at the hostel.
