Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa near Edinburgh: Edinburgh Hotels

Good Points: Good location, Very friendly staff, Great food and wonderful Bar !!!
Bad Points: The bathroom in our room was poorly lit with inadequate ventilation.
Further Comments: Our overall stay was pleasant, but the bathroom was dated, poorly ventilated, with a shabby shower curtain and water marks in the sink.

Good Points: the bed was superb
Bad Points: the bathroom was poor for the standard of the hotel, it appears that the bathrooms have never been upgraded to match the standard of the bedroom and the rest of the hotel
Further Comments: The additional cost to use the spa facility - the hotel is pricey enough and I felt that ￂﾣ40 for 2 people to use this additonal facility was unfair. The ￂﾣ8 parking is also not expected, I have stayed in hotels all over the world and have never had topay for parking if I am resident. I do appreciate that Edinburgh is a big city but don't agree that we had to pay for parking. The meal in the Terrace restaurant was very good value for money.

Good Points: The accomodation was everything I expected from a Hotel of this quality. Its location is ideal for the centre of town.
Bad Points: Only a very small point, the en-suit bathroom could do with a slight refurb' or tidying up, probably due to the age of the hotel. But other than that it is very acceptable
Further Comments: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay especially the time we spent in the Spa. We will definately be back again....thank you for the care and friendly atmosphere your staff offered.
