Good Points: Considering this room was over a pub/restaurant it was spacious. It was clean and bright - apparently the room had been completely redecorated over the last six months, or so. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was powerful and hot!
Bad Points: Many of the doors banged on the hotel rooms so you knew when anyone else was walking about. As it is a restaurant/pub it did not serve snack meals - you had to have the full dinner, or find somewhere else to eat. Immediately outside the pub was a bus stop and you could hear people talking whilst waiting for the bus - which were also quite noisy when they arrive and leave.
Further Comments: Overall, if you were looking for a good value B&B for one or two nights I would recommend this hotel. The Staff were polite, the room was good. It is situated in a small village which may not be to some people's liking - but is in a good position for going to other places in the county.

Good Points: space and comfort
Bad Points: No information about local amenities, food.
Further Comments: This was a great room at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately I stayed on a Monday so the resteraunt was closed and it was difficult to find somewhere else to eat. Fellow traveller didn't suceed so ate nothing! Next morning breakfast should have made up for it but the gas wasn't working so only tea and toast for breakfast. Unfortunate circumstances. I'd definately stay again but not on a Monday.

Good Points: Staff were friendly and setting is good. Dining area nicely furnished.
Bad Points: Room was a bit small and not completely clean (cobwebs on ceiling). Quite a bit of equipment did not work (fan in bathroom, coffee m/c)
Further Comments: The George had new management only 5 weeks ago (and I think they will improve it)- we should have been told. We were caught in the transition stage with electrics not working and the staff not quite in gear (although they were pleasant). Dining area very nice and they are likely to have new menu soon. Will be worth a visit in a couple of months time when edges ironed out. Seemed slightly more expensive than other similar accomodation.

Good Points: The superior room was very large, with a very large bed! Nice view with opening windows. Not only tea & coffee, but bottled water as well.
Bad Points: Nothing
Further Comments: The manager was very pleasant and gave us a warm welcome. The room was excellent in every way. The breakfast, which was very well presented, catered for every need and was excellent value. The dinner was also of a very high standard and again very well presented. The inn had been tastefully refurbished and the beer garden was very pleasant on a very hot day.

Good Points: The room was large and clean with a large ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was very good and the hotel had good parking facilities.
Further Comments: I would recommend this hotel to anyone touring this part of Suffolk. The staff were friendly and helpful, a refrigerated minibar would be helpful as a selection of drinks were available in the room but were at room temperature. Overall very good value for money.
