Further Comments: to be fair it was under renervation which it is in need of. I'm sure when that is complete it will be a nice hotel to stop in for a few nights.

Good Points: The room was quiet at most times, especially at night. The staff was friendly, and check-in and check-out were done quickly and efficiently. An ample breakfast was served well by competent and friendly staff; the city shopping and sights are all close by, and the walking area in the center of Derby is just a few minutes from the hotel. Room prices are reasonable, an important factor for many travelers today.
Bad Points: There were occasional noisy gatherings, but normally only in the daytime; some rooms overlook a kind of trucking courtyard where machinery/vehicles enter and leave at odd hours.
Further Comments: My stay was entirely satisfactory, and I enjoyed my time in Derby.

Bad Points: hotel had no record of me booking. they say they are not registered for booking with yourself and had no idea i was coming.

Good Points: Excellent facilities, pleasant staff, extremely clean hotel despite obvious signs of work being carried out to upgrade hotel.
Bad Points: Parking no problem for us but would prefer additional parking facilities.

Good Points: very easy to book,very good value for money. Staff very helpfull and friendly.
Bad Points: hotel being refurbished but this did not hinder our visit

Bad Points: When checking in, receptionist made eye contact but then carries on talking to her colleague for at least 5 minutes until I interrupted her. Hotel room dirty, sheets smelt musty,cigarette packet under bed, shower head filthy. Need I go on.
Further Comments: Very poor, shame the premier lodge was fully booked !

Good Points: Clean comfy bed. Convinient location. Bathroom was sufficient size for my needs.
Bad Points: Redecoration was ongoing through the hotel. Corridors were much in need of a facelift. Curtain didn't quite cover the window!
Further Comments: Very acceptable. Staff could have offered more information at check in, but she was being trained.. breakfast time and where it was served that sort of thing, but appart from that they were friendly and efficient.

Good Points: Good buffet breakfast. Free internet. Free parking garage.
Bad Points: The location looks very a quite bad area (but reception said there is not much crime around). The appearance of the hotel looks very old and quite bad, although the room looks nice newly decorated. Shower area is extremely small.
Further Comments: You got what you pay for - price is very low and it is value for money. Don't expect the hotel is very good, although it is acceptable.

Good Points: very comfortable,warm, very near to the city center and the nitelife. recommended for young couples. very peaceful.clean
Bad Points: quite difficult to find the hotel if your not fimiliar with the town, carpark could be bit more secured and more spaces needed.
Further Comments: i enjoyed my stay at this hotel i would definatly use again, the findings was a bit difficult as its a one-way system, its about 5mins walk to the city center n the nitelife.. the room its self was very nice n welcoming comfortable clean with a nice view.. the staff are very pleasent and helpfull.

Good Points: Cheap and clean
Bad Points: Shower was a bit small - and I am not a large person
Further Comments: I would say that it was a value for money experience. When the price is ￃﾂￂﾣ35 for a single room, I did not have huge expectations but the hotel was clean and comfortable and served its purpose, which was one night's accommodation at a bargain price. I would stay there again

Good Points: comfortable bad and possible parking space.
Bad Points: noisy rooms. Very cramped bathroom and poor breakfast. A B&B is much better!
Further Comments: The hotel appears good on the outside. The rooms are very small but functional. I got burnt on my finger using the hair drier! The room servicing re-used did not change the towels despite the fact that they were dirty! Otherwise, bedding was fine and bed comfy. Noise transferance from neigbouring rooms significant but settled after 2am! Breakfast was very poor with squashed croissants and staff unable to fully understand English!
