Good Points: It was clean, well presented and in a good location.
Bad Points: The only thing i can find to fault about this hotel is that breakfast was early and on for only one hour 8-9am.
Further Comments: The B&B was easy to find and the staff were very friendly. Staying in B&B's can be very confined and some a little rough around the edges. I found this place very friendly and welcoming. A home from home on our break away.

Further Comments: This was too near a a Large supermarket. The view out of the window was just that. Much! Car park was a tight fit for 3 cars.

Further Comments: recommended; very considerate. I was NOT impressed by the active hotel web site, it was implied BUT NOT CLEARLY STATED that my credit card was being sought but NOT to pay the room. I had to guess that: and phoned up the help line. With such key issues, you should be really clear what is going one with cridit cards

Good Points: The proprietors were very friendly and helpful.
Bad Points: low/angled celings left several bumps on our heads.
Further Comments: Turas-Mara Guesthouse is a cozy and clean facility in a great location near the center of Ayr. The charming and active high street is just a few blocks away with numerous restaurants, pubs and shops. We had a very early flight from nearby Prestwick Airport and the proprietors had a to-go breakfast ready for us to take along when we checked out at 6:00 in the morning. We were very pleased with our experience here.

Good Points: the room was very clean and spacious with all amenities. The en-suite was immaculate with toiletries provided.
Further Comments: we found the directions to be a bit muddled ended up working it out for ourselves. location perfect for prestwick airport. lovely house with friendly owner. it was just a stopover before a flight in the morning so we were very pleased indeed.

Good Points: It was such a modern and homely place to stay. The size of the room we had was very impressive too, with little luxuries and all the amenities we could ask for and more. The owners were very helpful and made us feel very welcome indeed. The location of this B&B was great too and very near all the places we wanted to visit. The breakfasts were enormous and absolutely delicious! Just what we needed to set us up for the day.
Further Comments: Such a great comfortable place to stay and excellent value for money! I would definately recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Ayr! I will certainly be returning at some point.
