Good Points: Everything was just as it should be
Bad Points: The bathroom lets the bedroom down - too bland and the shower goes cold when the wash basin tap is running
Further Comments: Bedrooms are great and nice and quiet if you get a room at the back. The food in the restaurant is excellent and definitely recommend it. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Good Points: Everything!
Further Comments: The hotel accommodation, restaurant and food were great. The staff were very friendly but were a little slow on the first night to serve a 'lone customer'. But somehow, on the second night this resolved itself - and it was equally busy. So no complaints.

Good Points: Comfortable bed, quality sheets, nice toiletries.
Bad Points: Proximity to the road.
Further Comments: I've stayed at TWE several times over the last 12 months and find it to be a great little hotel. Unfortunately I did not ask for a quiet room and this time my room overlooked the road which was quite noisy. The weather was quite warm but I couldn't have the window open overnight due to the noise. Apart from that everything was fine.

Good Points: Immaculate modern decor
| Further Comments: On arrival in car park a welcoming new build accommodation block. A very warm welcome at reception also extremely helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, decor and furnishings of a very high standard and a good quality comfortable bed which makes a change. Pizza's should come with a goverment health warning (absolutely huge) but delicious. Breakfast good but here comes my only moan - no baked beans! Will definitely return to this quaint village again. | Good Points: Clean comfortable room, good toiletries and teas/coffees |
Bad Points: Had a bit of difficulty in unlocking the door
Further Comments: Have stayed here several times now, each time v good. Ask for a non-interconnecting room to avoid listening to your neighbours!

Good Points: Clean, quiet room, comfortable bed, quality bedding.
Bad Points: Had to wait at reception for a few minutes before a member of staff checked us in. Didn't like all the cleaners smoking outside our room in the morning (by the emergency exit door).
Further Comments: Have stayed in this hotel several times on business. Husband was able to accompany me this time at no extra charge on the room. My only criticism was that the butter for my toast at breakfast had come straight from the fridge and was hard, but everything else was fine.

Further Comments: Generally, the feeling was that someone needed to be in overall charge. Young members of staff were doubling or trebling up for duties eg when we arrived, the bar tender had to check us in and he clearly wasn't happy!! Breakfast was a bit of a disaster - understaffed with a long wait (45 minutes) for a cooked breakfast even though the reataurant was quiet. You can have all the catchy phrases you like around the walls, but you really need to train up your staff properly and to ensure sufficient of them turn up!!

Good Points: The room was spacious and nicely furnished/decorated; the bed was extremely comfortable and the tea/coffee selection (and kit kats) excellent.
Bad Points: The heating did not work, but a call to reception brought an electric heater within minutes.
| Further Comments: The hotel was very comfortable and the food excellent. Sadly, I feel thet some of the staff let the hotel down. On checking out, I was not asked about my stay, or thanked for my custom or payment - in fact, other than asking me to enter my pin number, I don't think the young lady actually spoke to me at all!
That said, the bar staff were extremely efficient as were the cleaning staff (and the lady who brought the heater)and we enjoyed our stay. |

Good Points: Clean. New feel about it
Further Comments: We have stayed there before so knew the facilities. The only disappointment was that the Sunday menu was a special menu and did not include what we had seen on the Internet.

Good Points: Lovely room. Good that it was set away from the restaurant and bar area in a seperate building.
Bad Points: The only complaint is that you could hear the people in the next room. The sound proofing needs to be improved considerably.
Further Comments: Overall our stay was excellent.

Good Points: Very nice decor. Lovely restaurant.
Bad Points: The push button door did not work, so it was difficult to open and carry bags through.
Further Comments: The directions to the hotel were vague, and the signposts did not show Ecton until you were quite close. We did get a little lost finding it. The evening meal was divine and the staff were extremely polite and helpful - especially after people I ate dinner with were rude to them (sorry). It would have been nice to have a menu in the bedroom and reminders of Breakfast timings. I would say there again though.
