Good Points: Lovely grounds & buildings
Bad Points: Nothing - all very nice!
Further Comments: Overall we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is set in very pleasant surroundings and certainly lives up to the photos. The room was very nice, with a very comfortable bed and a good bathroom. Food at the restaurant was excellent (although only one choice of vegetarian main course in the evening) One minor criticism on the booking process: The rooms at Rushton Hall are all different, however from the active hotel website you don't know which room you are getting.

Good Points: Terrific Staff, Beautiful Building, amazing Tudor great hall, good food.
Further Comments: Very friendly and efficient staff in all departments, not just the reception, dining room and bar, but also the night porter, gardner and chamber maids. Lovely parkland and lakes setting and a super Tudor mansion. The bar is in a wonderful Tudor Great Hall. All food and service excellent.

Bad Points: i can not think of anything a good quality English Country Hotel
Further Comments: An excellent standard hotel with friendly staff and a great location unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to fully check the restaurant.
