| Good Points: Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was in excellent repair, very clean and with plenty of space. Evening meal was of excellent quality, and the DBB option was good value for money. | |||
| Bad Points: Personally I find duvets much too hot at night, and I would have liked the old-fashioned option of a sheet and blanket. If I had been staying a second night, I would have requested this. | |||
| Further Comments: Generally a very good hotel, and I would recommend it unreservedly. | |||

| Good Points: Standard was good and facilities were as expected | |||
| Bad Points: Asked for a smoking room and given a non-smoking room but then changed to a smoking room but lock on door was faulty. | |||
| Further Comments: Overall nice hotel and staff were helpful. Meals were good and service excellent. | |||

| Good Points: Modern, clean, well-appointed room; warm, comfortable bed, quiet. | |||
| Further Comments: Not impressed by the hotel bar: dingy and unwelcoming. Had to wait a long time to be served. There was no fresh fruit at breakfast and the bacon didn't arrive until a quarter of an hour after the advertised start time for breakfast. Quite a long way from the centre of Sheffield. | |||

| Good Points: Very warm and comfortable with friendly staff especially in the restaurant they were young but exceptionally good. | |||
| Bad Points: The directions were limited Ok if you are coming from the M1 otherwise none existent. We travelled from Mid Wales and there were no directions from Chesterfield and Mossborough is not mentioned anywhere in or near chesterfield. Directions were very poor - a local map would be very useful. WE experienced a lot of trouble getting back to the hotel and we were not the only ones another group had to head out to the M1 from Sheffield in desperation to find there way back to the hotel. | |||
| Further Comments: Hotel is very good staff excellent friendly and helpful. Unfortuately only directions from M1. Everyone does not come via that route - directions from Chesterfield would help people from the south west also a local map on how to find the hotel from around the area would be useful. Otherwise the hotel is very good and we enjoyed the food and restful area. | |||

| Good Points: The accommodation was very good, very clean and comfortable | |||
| Further Comments: From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were made very welcome. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. There was no lift, but I should have checked this before I booked. The only things that I could complain about were the driveway was badly lit at night when walking out of the hotel and the same two cd's seemed to be playing all the time in the public areas. On the saturday night of our stay there was a disco in the Chatsworth Suite and I know other people have complained about the noise when there have been functions on but I can honestly say we did not notice any. The hotel is within easy driving distance of Sheffield, Doncaster and the Meadowhall shopping complex. We thoroughly enjoyed or stay and would certainly recommend the hotel to our friends. | |||

| Good Points: Nothing. The picture on the website shows a rather nice manor house. None of which seemed available to us we were in a modern. Arriving at the reception and going up the staircase to the 1st floor you would think you were in a car park, not a hotel. | |||
| Bad Points: The hotel was very disorganised, it took us an hour and a half to get our dinner we never got the morning paper we ordered. The bar area is extremely shabby. | |||
| Further Comments: I would have liked to have know that the rooms were not in the old part of the hotel which apart from the dining room I never saw. I would have liked to have been told when I booked the dinner in the dining room that there was a group booking that evening. I would like told to wait in a smokey bar with no explanation at all apart from they were clearing and laying our table. We were not offered a drink while we waited we were not even given the wine list. We thought we would be there for a minute or two not over an hour. No one would tell us what was going on. | |||
