Good Points: Very friendly and welcoming. Will do thier best to cater for your every need. Great location 5 minutes walk from windemere town center and bus / train station. Breakfasts great with wide selection and very quiet and secluded garden perfect for winding down. Rooms are Fantastic too!
Further Comments: If you have the chance to stay at the Willowsmere.. Do! Its a great hotel ran brilliantly by the friendly staff.

Good Points: the hotel owners greeted us on arrival,asked if we needed any directions to any places and gave us a small map of local interesting areas. Showed us some resturants that were highly recommened in the area. Then asked us if we would like to have a cup of tea or coffee. A very nice touch after driving for about 3 1/2 hrs.
Further Comments: Martin and Susan Cooper were a very nice host and hostess and they have a first class hotel. The full english breakfast was very filling, and if one is looking for packed bag lunch for the days journey ahead they offered that also. Both my wife and I were very pleased with our accommdation and would highly recommend this hotel to others seeking a pleasant stay in a Bed & Breakfast Hotel.

Further Comments: Local information was great places to eat a really fantastic guide made by the hotel. Pleasant helpful staff lovely fresh fruit salad for breakfast this was a real treat as you cannot always get fresh fruit so keep up the good work and food lovely.

Good Points: Well-maintained hotel and motivated family owners.
Bad Points: No grab rails in the bathroom - a simple low-cost solution for both able and, like me, disabled people to prevent accidents. I have an able friend who once pulled all the pipework off a wall.
Further Comments: They called me immediately after I made my booking because I said I had mobility problems. They gave the impression that they were honest and had nothing to hide. So I don't have any negatives to report. I thought that the (small) garden was a surprise asset. Perhaps they might make more of it in their description of the hotel. The breakfasts were nicely cooked.

Further Comments: There is nothing I could fault with the accommodation, staff, food or any other aspect. The breakfast menu was extensive and service was efficient, very friendly and prompt. The communal facilities were very inviting and comfortable. The whole experience was a pleasure.

Good Points: The Hotel was well situated. The decor was excellent, very clean and had a cosy feel to it. The owners were very welcoming and made us comfortable from the start. The breakfast was excellent and well presented. Would definitely stay again.

Bad Points: Could have done with a small bar area to retire to after you have been out in the evening - none-the-less, a lovely place, would reccomend it to anyone and will hopefully return myself.
