Best Western Glasgow city hotel near Glasgow: Glasgow Hotels

Good Points: all facilities are avilable in the room.
Bad Points: chicking in service is poor.overbooking then given a flat as upgrade! with no hot water and the staff know about it and still given to me.
Further Comments: sory i can not trust this hotel any more due to the above reson.

Good Points: central position
Bad Points: room not made up on the sunday.Late placing free bar on arrival day. Bed was not a double as advertised but 2 beds pushed together. Not acceptable to me.

Good Points: It was very quiet. It was old, yet nicely renovated and very comfortable.
Bad Points: No lifts was a little inconvenient with all the luggage.
Further Comments: We requested an extra bed in the room as there was three of us when booking through active hotels. But when we arrived at the hotel, the hotel did not seem to know anything about this. They did not have any extra beds on that night and my daughter had to sleep on a duvet on the floor. However, the staff could not have been more apologetic and helpful on getting us settled. Easily the most helpful staff I have ever come across. We got to choose between 2 rooms and we chose the quietest one. We got our extra bed on the next night. If you have any special requests, i would suggest you ring the hotel directly on the night before to confirm your requirements. Otherwise, we had an enjoyable stay.

Good Points: we were moved from room 103 to room 203. room 203 was a very nice, spacious room, with good facilities. Free minibar was well stocked, and 'plasma tv' with satellite channels was great.
Bad Points: in the original room we were allocated (103)the T.V didn't work properly (no satellite tv and a very bad picture. The actual room itself was spacious and very nice, and we would have been happy to stay in the room if the TV had worked.
