Good Points: bedding was warm and comfortable
Bad Points: the curtains did not match the room and the height of the shower was fitted far too low on the wall and did not adjust to another height. On the saturday, the maid did not clean the room until late afternoon, which was rather disappointing.
Further Comments: Overall, the hotel was clean, and the staff were polite and friendly. The room was nice and ould go back and stay again.

Good Points: Nice room that was clean, all kept up by the house keepers. Great
Bad Points: pillows (very hard).
Further Comments: 1. Carpark the receptionist was friendly but was very confused over the carpark arrangments, this involved four trips to and fro and after a 400 mile journey we could have done without this. 2.The staff in the resturaunt were fantastic and connot be faulted this includesw bar staff. 3. There was one major problem, when we returned home we found that the hotel had debited nearly a thousand pound from my account instead of ￂﾣ316 it was refunded the next day, it's just a pity that I found out in an esso garage when I was on my way home and payment was rejected. On leaving the hotel I could see the bill was lower than it should be and informed the receptionist I was honest and it just made me a bit bitter that this mistake was made with no explanation with regards to the credit card payment.

Further Comments: We were delighted to be given an upgraded room with complimentary soft drinks and breakfast which really enhanced our experience. I feel that the cost of breakfast at ￂﾣ15.75pp would have deterred us from taking it in the hotel normally. It would be better to offer an a la carte itemised breakfast for those who don't want a full one. It was also good to have a later checkout (12noon) than is normally offered in most hotels.

Bad Points: refrigerator wasn't cold...had to shower with bathroom door and window open so you didn't set off fire alarm.
Further Comments: Was a lovely hotel and a beautiful view from window. Close to city center.

Good Points: Clean and tidy. Quiet. Quick check-in and check-out. Good value for money.

Further Comments: Hotel is very near the centre and within easy walk it also has its own car park. Meals in the hotel are expesive and beakfast is not included and costs ￂﾣ15. The rooms are tidy and clean but the small window ment you had to have your room light on most/all the time.
