Good Points: Off main road and excellent views
Further Comments: The hotel was very good and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meal was very good.

Good Points: It was very clean and set in very picturesque surroundings.
Bad Points: We had twin beds but this was due to the hotel being fully booked.
Further Comments: Excellent.

Good Points: we stayed in the milking parlour, all the necessaries were provided for, the bedrooms were very adequate, and the views fantastic.
Bad Points: the only criticism would be the price of the sandwiches (on the day we arrived we asked for some bar food; 1 cheese sandwich and 1 egg sandwich, and a glass of coke each, charge ￃﾂￂﾣ13). The ￃﾂￂﾣ30 'changeover' charge which was added to the final bill we also thought was excessive.
Further Comments: Very nice accomodation, everything catered for, great location for exploring devon and dorset, but take your own sandwiches!

Good Points: The room was bright, clean and comfortable, with lovely views.
Bad Points: Nothing really, apart from a noisey shower!
Further Comments: All the staff were friendly and welcoming without being over the top. The hotel is in a lovely quiet location with views of the surrounding countryside. You can borrow Ben the labrador, if you want a walking companion and there is a small pony that children can also ride on. There is an outside heated pool and towels can be borrowed from the hotel. The breakfast seems a little expensive, but the choice is varied and it's all very tasty! I would definitely go back to this hotel and would recommend it.

Further Comments: Overall the standard of accommodation was good. However, the ￂﾣ25 changeover charge was excessive for two nights.

Good Points: Standard of accommodation but this was not necessary the same level throughout.
Bad Points: Check out too early at 10.00am (however the hotel were flexible when asked and this was extended to 11.00 am.

Further Comments: I found the website for this Hotel to be very informative. The accomodation was superb and the views spectacular. The staff made you feel really welcome & were extremely helpful. The Hotel is set back from the main road down a private track, there are no street lights so I would recommend you use your own Transport or one of the many local taxi services (which are very good) should you want to explore the area at night. I would definately come back again & recommend this Hotel to my family & friends.

Good Points: clean,comfortable,size of rooms,adequate cooking utensils,cooking areas.
Bad Points: Smoke alarm directly above cooker so every time cooker door opened alarm activated. (but at least it worked and our safety wasn't compromised)
Further Comments: Nice accommodation, in beautiful location, easy to find. Better than appeared at time of booking on website.

Good Points: Lovely grounds with awonderful view and a nice friendly feel in the hotel
Bad Points: There was some banging during our first evening that made us worry that our tv was disturbing others, even though it was so low that we had to strain to hear the dialogue.
Further Comments: You very kindly provided an evening meal for my husband when all restaurants seemed to be booked up. There was no mention of the hotel restaurant being closed, either on-line or in the room, nor was the price of the breakfast to be found. It was a very good breakfast, with a very good choice of healthy foods, all of which cost more than supermarket alternatives. But the bill was a bit of a shock - 4 breakfasts do add quite alot onto the bill.
