Good Points: It is well kept and in a quiet area. The staff are very helpful, and the food is excellent
Bad Points: They need queen size beds, not just regular doubles which are not very roomy.

Good Points: Lovely room, good food in the bar with friendly staff.
Bad Points: Bathroom refurbishments going on could have been a problem if we hadn't been out most of the time the banging was going on.
Further Comments: Pleasant hotel in a good location. I booked two rooms and one had a lovely view of the bowling green and fields whereas the other looked onto a slate roof ten feet away. The bar staff were very accommodating and the bar and library were very pleasant rooms although very warm.

Good Points: Very pleasant and quiet room. Excellent shower and facities.
Further Comments: Despite being slightly difficult to find the hotel matched all the standards that I like in a hotel - it was quiet being away from the main road, the room was very comfortable, the bar food was excellent, and the service throughout was good.Both breakfasts were also veryt good. I would certainly use this hotel again.

Good Points: quiet and homely. not too big, free parking, comfortable rooms, good bar food but a little pricey, bus stop at end of the road, clean rooms, staff were very polite,
Bad Points: cleaners did not replace bottles of water or biscuits every day, rooms were a little on the small size and would not describe my room as executive as was described by the receptionist.
Further Comments: did not realise it was as far out of the city but there was good public transport
